UPES Dehradun M.Des Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for UPES M.Des program is as follows: 

  • Passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • B.Tech/ BE in any relevant stream/ B.Arch/ BFA/ Interior Design/ B.Des/ BVA or 3 year BSc/ BA/ BFA/ BVA degree in Applied Arts/ Design with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with one year of relevant industry experience
  • M.Sc/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ CSE/ IT

Selection to M.Des program is based on the following criteria:

  • Exam Pathway: Online UPES DAT (Design Aptitude Test) followed by interview and portfolio presentation.
  • Non-Exam Pathway: Students with valid CEED scores could directly sit at interview and portfolio presentation.

Step 3: Fill in all the details and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: After form submission, you will receive an email from UPES to verify your email address and to create an account on the website of the university.

Step 6: Click on ‘Submit’ and pay an application fee of INR 1,350 (US$ 75 for Foreign Residents) via online mode (Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Transfer).
