Vedansh Jain's Review On University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies - [UPES], Dehradun | collegedunia.com

In my opinion it is the best college in dehradun

Remarks :

My name is vedansh jain. The eligibility of this course is he/she may be 12th pass out from any school board and should clear the upes entrance exam. He/she may get the application form at the upes website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I have a dream to be a pharmacist in a big organization in the private sector. The qualification of the faculty is a master's graduate and some of them have experience in the job field which makes it more interesting.

Internships Opportunities :

In 3rd year the students get internships from private companies in many fields. For example, in bpharmacy the students get internships from private pharmacy shops. IN the first year the students get the university-based internship at your town itself in june-july.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placements at the start of 4th year. The highest package of bpharma: is 80,000/month and the lowest package is 30,000/month. About 80% of students get placed. Some companies like dr ortho, Cipla, AIIMS Rishikesh etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee of bpharmacy is 8,00,000 for 4 years which includes all content of bpharmacy course. Pros: 1) At this price this type, of course, is good. 2) You will also get the industrial visit at this cost of study. Cons: 1) It does not provide enough technical support.

Campus Life :

Campus life is awesome in this college as we get the opportunity to meet different people from different states/countries and to learn their native languages. Spandan is the biggest fest in upes. The classroom is well-maintained and it has a great wifi facility.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel of this college is good. The hostel fee per year is 1,80,000. The facilities provided in the hostel are good. It provides the best internet connectivity in the hostel. The food of the hostel is also good. Con: Laundry is not included at this price point which is very disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.pharm course is of 4 years, and pharmacy syllabuses are run according to PCI. I have chosen this course because I want to go into the chemistry research field. Here all faculties have above 5 years of experience in the teaching field and the maximum number of teachers are P.HDqualified, they all know unique styles to teach students. If you attend regular lectures then you do not have to suffer for passing the semester exams. 3 sessional exam is conducted before the semester exam, and here exam is held on time.

Placement Experience:

We are the first batch at the quantum in bachelor of pharmacy so that's why there is no placement record available for my course and I can't describe it here because I have nothing to say about it. And my plans after getting the degree are to work for people who cannot afford too many medical expenses.
