IIT Kanpur has started the application process for MBA admission 2023-25. The last date to submit the application is Jan 31, 2023. The application fee is INR 1600 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ DAP). Candidates who meet the qualifying CAT 2022 Cut off and have a minimum of 60% in graduation (50% for SC/ ST candidates) can apply at IIT Kanpur. Based on ​CAT 2022 scores and other eligibility criteria, candidates will be shortlisted for the PI round. The final merit list of admitted candidates will be prepared after the PI round based on CAT 2022 score, previous academic performance, work experience, the interview scores. IIT Kanpur MBA Admission through CAT 2022: Eligibility Criteria

IIT Kanpur has laid down specific category-wise eligibility criteria for the candidates seeking admission to its MBA program. It is mandatory to appear for CAT 2022 exam to be eligible for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for General/ EWS/ NC-OBC Candidates

• Minimum qualifying CAT 2022 Cut off is 80 percentile.
• Candidates should have a B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch degree with Maths as one of the subjects in class 12, or a 4-year degree leading to B.Sc Engineering, or M.Sc or MA Economics with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program.
• The graduation or post-graduation degree should be from any AICTE recognized institution, IITs, NITs, or IIITs.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or a CPI of 6.0 on a 10-point scale at the qualifying degree level.

Eligibility Criteria for SC/ ST Candidates

• Minimum qualifying CAT 2022 Cut off is 55 percentile.
• Candidates should have a B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch degree with Maths as one of the subjects in class 12, or a 4-year degree leading to B.Sc Engineering, or M.Sc or MA Economics with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program.
• The bachelor's or master's degree should be from any AICTE recognized institution, IITs, NITs, or IIITs.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks or a CPI of 5.0 on a 10-point scale at the qualifying degree level.

Eligibility Criteria for Final Year Students

Candidates in their final year of study can also apply. However, their admission will be confirmed only if they meet all the criteria of the qualifying degree before joining the MBA program.

Candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned eligibility criteria and qualifying CAT 2022 Cut offs can apply for MBA admission 2023-25 on the official website of IIT Kanpur- iitk.ac.in. The steps to apply for IIT Kanpur MBA admission are as follows

• Visit the official website- pingala.iitk.ac.in.
• Click on the ‘New User Registration’ tab and enter your basic information like name, date of birth, email id, contact details, password, and the captcha code.
• Enter the 8-digit OTP received on the registered email id to complete your registration.
• Login using your registered email id and password to fill out the application form (personal, academic, and category details).
• Choose the program you want to apply for and click on the ‘Save & Next’ button.
• Now enter your CAT 2022 score and experience details and click on the ‘Save & Next’ tab.
• Upload the scanned images/ pdfs of the documents as per the specifications mentioned below:

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission through CAT 2022: Selection Process

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission Process includes 4 stages.

• Stage 1: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above need to fill out the application form on the official website- iitk.ac.in
• Stage 2: Candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores and eligibility norms. Only one shortlist will be released. 
• Stage 3: Shortlisted candidates will then be called for GD-PI rounds.
• Stage 4: The final merit list will be released separately for every category- Gen/ EWS/ SC/ ST/ NC-OBC/ PwD. The final IIT Kanpur MBA cut off will be released by the admission committee. The merit list will preparation will depend on CAT 2022 score, previous academic performance, work experience, group discussion, and personal interview.
