UPES Dehradun M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

  • The minimum eligibility to apply in M.Tech is a BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university.
  • Candidates must have secured 60% marks in 10th and 10+2 levels.
  • Also, candidates must have secured 60% marks in the required specialization.
  • A Candidate must have a valid GATE score.

  2. Click on ‘Online Application Form’ from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on your status whether Indian Resident or Foreign Resident.
  4. Fill in the details requested and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. After form submission, you will receive an email from UPES to verify your email address & to create an account on the UPES website.
  6. Now login to the website and fill in the rest of the details.
  7. Submit the application form and pay the application fee of INR 1350 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
  8. Save the duly filled application form for future reference.

Ans. GATE SCHOLARSHIP: Under this scholarship, Students admitted to M. Tech program in the academic session 2023-24 with valid GATE score 70 percentile and above will be considered for scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month during their period of registration with the University. The eligibility for the continuance of scholarship in subsequent semesters is given below:

  • Minimum SGPA / CGPA of 8.0 in each semester.
  • Passed every semester examination in the first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behaviour and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time.
