Placement:

There is a fair held on the college twice a year with the participation of almost all the companies around Nebraska. The students in college dress up professionally and visit the stalls in the fair and choose the company they want to be in, submit their resume and apply for the positions and also know more about the company. The pay rate depends according to the companies and there is a high chance of getting an internship if you? re qualified enough.

Internship:

Yes, you get a lot of on-campus working opportunities. All you gotta do is grab a chance, you can get all kinds of jobs you want according to your major a preference. There is a fair twice a year with numbers of companies around Nebraska which will give you chance to explore the internship opportunities. Through the entire process of resume making and getting a job college if really helpful and have a separate department for this kind of help.

UNK is affordable and with the scholarship, I was awarded it seemed like the obvious choice. It is close to my hometown and the environment is very welcoming. There are many resources on and off-campus to make sure students can succeed.

Placement:

I would say that placements and job opportunities are good but I am a freshman so do not really know. I think a lot of people from our school are able to get the type of jobs they want in the field they want.

Internship:

Yes, they do provide internships but I have not done one yet so I can not describe the experience or stipend. I think people that have done them would say it is a good experience though. The faculty are very nice and willing to work with students.

Placement:

The job opportunities are fantastic. People want to hire graduates from the University of Nebraska at Kearney because they know they will get quality workers. UNK is very helpful in helping it?s students find a job when they graduate.

Internship:

Yes, certain degree programs require internships. A lot of them sound very successful and interesting. From what I have heard, the college does an excellent job of helping you find an internship for your degree program. My program doesn't require an internship so I do not know much about them.
