UNK is affordable and with the scholarship, I was awarded it seemed like the obvious choice. It is close to my hometown and the environment is very welcoming. There are many resources on and off-campus to make sure students can succeed.
Course Curriculum :
It is easy to find classes that are appealing as well as ones to benefit your major. Faculty are easy to talk to for the most part and curriculum is fairly easy to understand. If students have questions they are encouraged to talk to faculty members, who answer questions thoroughly.
Fees :
The scholarship I was given covers all fees that most students have to pay, however, I looked at the fees that all students pay and not only are they affordable but they are also easy to understand.
Examination Structure :
Exam structure depends on the professor, however, most instructors are very open about how exams are set up and are willing to work with students to find a study routine or help them prepare for exams.
Faculty :
UNK faculty members strive to help students succeed. They are easy to talk to and extremely helpful. I haven't had trouble finding a faculty member who would help me if I had any problems.
