Overview:

Firstly, I transferred to this because I had my friends there and also had the major I was wanting to study. I saw that I had a chance to build my resume and make myself a better person in this college which is the reason I chose this one. Besides, all of these reasons the whole college community and faculty members are very helpful and want to see you moving forward. The international student department here is a gem, they have to help me in every single step since I came to UNK. Most importantly, I got attracted to this college due to its opportunities for on-campus jobs and involvement in various organizations for students of any kind.

Overview:

It is close to my home town so when I want to go home it only takes me two hours. They have a good exercise science program. The faculty to student ratio is small so you get a lot of personal attention.

Scholarship:

I have a scholarship that was awarded based on my ACT score but there are some that are awarded for written applications.

Overview:

I chose it because it wasn't too far away from my home town. I also liked that it was a fairly small college with big opportunities. Kearney is a great community because it's safe and clean. I also chose UNK because they have a really good program for nursing. I received a lot of scholarships, so going to UNK basically is free for me. I love the campus and feel so connected.

Scholarship:

Yes, I received plenty of scholarships for my schooling. Many of them were local. However, one of them was statewide and paid half tuition. I also received a good about of financial aid making it less stressful for me.
