Goa GNM Admission 2023: Eligibility 

The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to apply for the Goa GNM nursing. The eligibility criteria are as follows: 

  • Candidates should be a minimum of 17 years of age.
  • Candidates should have completed 10+2 from a recognized Indian board.
  • Candidates must have physics, chemistry, and biology as compulsory subjects in intermediate.
  • Candidates from NIOS and state open boards are also eligible
  • Candidates must score at least 50% in the qualifying exam for the general category and 45% for the reserved category.
  • The candidate should be medically fit.

Ques: Which one is better GNM or BSc Nursing?

Ans: The GNM programme will also help the students in pursuing higher education. BSc Nursing is a full-fledged four-year undergraduate degree course. Anyone who have passed class 12 with physics, chemistry and biology subjects or have finished a diploma in Nursing (ANM or GNM) are eligible to pursue the course.

Ques: Can I do BSc Nursing after GNM?

Ans: After GNM, one may register with State Nurse Registration Council as R.N.R.M. After this, one may work and gain some work experience. This qualification can be used to join Bsc Nursing (Post Basic) program offered by INC recognized institutes. After completing the Bsc program, one will be awarded a Nursing Degree.
