GNM Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

There are certain qualifications that the candidates need to fulfill to get permission for admission to the GNM diploma course.

  • Candidates must have English as their compulsory subject and should have a science stream in their 12th standard. Also, they need to score a minimum of 40% aggregate marks and in English separately in their qualifying exam.
  • The candidate must be a 10+2 pass out with English as the compulsory subject and must have secured 40% in aggregate in Vocational ANM course from any Indian Nursing Council-recognized institute.
  • The candidate should have completed class 12 with English having 40% in aggregate in Vocational Stream Health Care Science from a CBSE-recognized board. 
  • The aspirant needs to be registered with ANM and must have a qualifying rank.

GNM Admission Process 2023

Admission to the GNM course is generally done by seeing the merit of the candidates he or she has gained in the entrance exams. Merit-Based Admission

  • Candidates have to first apply at the official portal of the college they want to pursue.
  • To apply for the subject, they need to create an application ID there and log in by giving the login credentials.
  • Next, they need to fill up the application form accordingly by putting in the necessary details. Also, they need to upload their mark sheets for classes 10 and 12 in the required image format.
  • After the form fill-up is done, proceed, and pay the application fees, completing the application process.
  • The college will issue a merit list on a particular date. If candidates find their names in the list they need to apply either online or offline.
  • After reporting, the verification of documents will be done, and seat allotment will be done accordingly.

Entrance Based Admission

  • Candidates need to visit the official site of the college they want to pursue and see what are entrance exams, accepted by that respective college.
  • Based on that, candidates need to apply to the governing authority of the exam they want to sit.
  • They need to study well and perform well in the entrance exam and score more than the cutoff marks to get qualified.
  • Next, the college authority will issue a merit list based on the merit of the candidates in the entrance exams on a particular date.
  • If candidates find their name on the list, they must apply online or offline. This will follow the counseling round where the verification of documents will be done.
  • After the counseling phase, seat allotment will be done accordingly.
