Manjot Singh's Review On Chandigarh College Of Engineering And Technology - [CCET], Chandigarh | collegedunia.com

strongest CCET soldier

Remarks :

You can get admission if you have a decent enough jee mains rank it's not that hard plus it's a government college so you don't have to worry too much about campus placements either. application forms can be filled out through jac or visit the ccet website and download the brochure. there are reservation benefits as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose BE CSE because im really interested in learning programming languages and seeing how the logic behind different websites and applications. faculty to student ratio is just fine I think there are not too many students in our college. there's a decent amount of faculty members. the faculty are very well qualified there are PhD professors and they're very well versed in their subjects of teaching. they're very patient in their methods of teaching.

Placement Experience :

placements are pretty solid in our college we get placed right when our last year begins, and there are plenty of companies that come around to recruit students from our college so it's fair to say we have a good student-employment ratio.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structure is every 6 months and it's very affordable even if you belong to the general category it's one of the cheapest colleges around if you belong to the reservation class there are plenty of offers there as well.

Campus Life :

life at the campus is literally the best, we play lots of sports as well as study. the professors are just the right amount lenient they let us have our way with our learning at times and keep us grounded with a reality check here and there.

Placement Experience:

The placements are maximum for the CSE and ECE students. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus for placements. The placement process starts in the 7th Semester. I am a CSE student so I will share my experience accordingly. The companies first organize an Aptitude test followed by Technical rounds followed by personal interviews. For CSE, the placement percentage is 80-90% with an average pack of 6 LPA. It is comparatively easy for computer engineers to land a job in CCET with an average package.

There placement eligibility at my college is based on the Exam of CUCAT and AmCat. These two tests is based on Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. If you score a good Mark in this then you can get the Higher package placement driver. If not then average.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A lot of big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Palo Alto, Hewlett Packard, Accenture, Hitachi, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grail Research, TAFE, John Deere, and Schindler visited. Over 6100 offers are made. The highest package secured is 54.75 LPA with an average package of 8 LPA for Computer science. More than 95 percent of students get placed this year. If I secure a package above 10 LPA, I will get some experience with the company and then I will apply for MBA or M.Tech.
