Vivek Kumar's Review On Chandigarh University - [CU], Chandigarh | collegedunia.com

Ishkoholiya Student

Remarks :

Eligibility criteria in marks were not there in this college and Just they are taking admission and collecting money as I have absorbed from this college yet. Even if we have fewer marks then they are giving admission to any department. In some cases, it's quite good like it's giving opportunities to those students who are not at all that curious about there previous studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm my dream to be a Software Developer. The faculties are quite good in some sections but there are some teachers who are not well qualified. Some teachers are having quite good experience and teaching techniques that can help students to grow up. Exams are on time always there is no partiality in that.

Internships Opportunities :

There are multiple companies who are coming to give internships to the 3rd year student every year. And that is based on the students who are able to grab that opportunity based on their ability. If you are capable then you can get India's best opportunity as well from this college.

Placement Experience :

There placement eligibility at my college is based on the Exam of CUCAT and AmCat. These two tests is based on Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. If you score a good Mark in this then you can get the Higher package placement driver. If not then average.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It was quite good according to the cost of study in case you get the qualified teachers in your section. But in case you get the worst teacher then it will be not up to Mark. The Scholarship is CUCET exam based

Campus Life :

There are many annual fests in the college. That can be organised by the college as well as the students. For students, there is a huge library where we can find all types of books for our knowledge improvement. The book is all categories academic and non-academic.

CCET has an excellent track record when it comes to placement. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to secure job opportunities for students. Many leading companies across various sectors visit the campus for recruitment, and students have been placed in well-known companies with lucrative packages. In case campus placements are not offered, the college provides ample opportunities for students to enhance their employability through internships and skills development programs.

7th-semester students start having their tests and interviews for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, arcesium, JP Morgan, Airbus, Uber, Flipkart, etc. visit the campus. The highest package this time was 86 lakhs CTC to six students and the average package is 14 lakhs. Mainly they offer coding and finance-related profiles. More or less everyone who sits in the placements gets placed, the percentage is above 90. I also want to get a good placement in an MNC.

Placement Experience:

Placements depend on the reputation and performance of the university, the quality of education and training provided, and the demand for the particular field of study. If a college does not offer campus placements, students can still explore various job opportunities through job portals, job fairs, or by contacting companies directly. They can also opt for higher studies or entrepreneurship. Eligibility: Generally, students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester onwards, depending on the university's policies. The companies that visit a college depend on the reputation and performance of the college and the demand for the particular field of study. Some of the top companies that visit colleges for placements include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc. The number of offers made by these companies varies from college to college. The highest and average packages offered to students during campus placements varies based on performance.

Yes, it's pretty good. I am mentioning a few companies which came for the 2022 batch listed below: DE SHAW GOOGLE INDIA MICROSOFT DELOITTE AMAZON FLIPKART but it all depends on your effort because studies are not so up to date and attendance criteria (75%).so you have to be pro in coding if u want to be in these top-notch tier companies.

Students are eligible from the 6th semester. More than 700 companies visit for placement. Cisco, Google, TCS, Wipro, Servicenow, Mykaarma, Amazon, and many more companies. Each company provides different types of offers. Offers start from 3.5 lakhs to 60 lakhs. It depends on the student's skill and knowledge which offer they take. Companies come for Software development, networking, front-end development, and so on. The highest package of last year is rs 63 lakh and the average placement is of 5 lakhs. More than 90 percent of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree are to get placed in a reputed company with the best package.
