Anyone can find the application form at www.cuchd.in and need to pay 1000 rupees for registration for admission. In CUCET exam have 100 questions physics, mathematics and computer have equal weightage and English have 10% weightage. A score above 90% marks is equal to a 100% scholarship. The scholarship is also provided on basis of JEE mains marks and 12th board marks. to maintain a scholarship students have to maintain a 7.5 CGPA every year, without any backlogs. After the pandemic, the university started intaking huge numbers of students which are resulting in a huge crowd during college hours.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer science as my major because technology is overtaking every industry after the pandemic, and the future lies on technology, therefore, opting for this course is reliable for the future. Also, Chandigarh University provides specializations in computer science programs like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(my program), Big Data, Internet of things, Cybersecurity, Gaming technology, Cloud Computing, etc. with association with IBM. Faculty to student ratio is good, and faculty members are qualified mostly to have M.Tech and Ph.D. qualifications. The teaching style is typical of other colleges, with teachers teaching with PowerPoint presentations. There are two Mid Semester exams within equal intervals and one End Semester exam. Mid sem is mostly conducted through online mode and questions are MCQs End Sem is conducted offline which is a pen-and-paper test. The difficulty level of the Mid Sem is more than the end sem. End-semester exams are moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and many more companies offered the opportunity of an internship with a stipend. Roles offered Debugger, research assistant, assistance application developer, etc. Chandigarh university also has an IEEE community that helps students to get internships and build networks with companies and officials. Special programs are conducted for placement and internships.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A lot of big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Palo Alto, Hewlett Packard, Accenture, Hitachi, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grail Research, TAFE, John Deere, and Schindler visited. Over 6100 offers are made. The highest package secured is 54.75 LPA with an average package of 8 LPA for Computer science. More than 95 percent of students get placed this year. If I secure a package above 10 LPA, I will get some experience with the company and then I will apply for MBA or M.Tech.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is quite reasonable and good, and the scholarship and financial assistance provided by the university make the fee structure affordable if any student grabs a scholarship of 50 % or above. Financial aid is provided by the university, also special aid for reservations is available. Every year the fees for the programs rise by some percent, but the scholarship criteria remain the same. Therefore cost to study is reasonable.

Freshers party "AAGHAZ", Tech Event "TECH INVENT" and many more sunburn and Dj fests are hosted regularly. Famous singers, Bollywood celebrities, and famous entrepreneurs are featured in CU Fest.
