Great program, lovely campus, not far from home, prestigious university known for sciences especially and as someone looking to go to medical school, a good undergrad is very important and I thought QU was the best option.

My mother went to Queen's University for undergraduate and graduate work, and it is one of the best schools in the country. Kingston, Ontario is a very nice city and the program was a good match for me.

The university was close to home, had a unique program not offered in many schools and had a small campus where you could go from one end to the other in 10 minutes. Student housing was near the campus and students were very close.

It was a good opportunity for me to expand my horizons, as I can meet people from all around the world and experience residence life. Also, the university has a strong school spirit as well as a close-knit student body, factors that drew me into accepting my offer to this university.

The reputation and program were the main reasons I took it. I was also able to pursue my masters which helped me achieve my goals in the long run. I live alone for 2 years and that made me the person I want to be today.

The first year was very general. Gave me more time to figure out exactly what I wanted to study. Though I could have gone somewhere else and switched programs if I found I was more interested in something else, the lack of commitment on entrance was very attractive to me.

Reputation, family ties, beautiful campus, I had always wanted to go here. Compared to other universities in my province the campus is far nicer, the building is prettier. Also, it isn't too far from home.

I was a big fan of the family feel of the university, how everyone felt included and excited to be there. Everyone loves the traditions and possibilities that Queen's offers. The Economics program was highly astute and interesting.

I chose Queen's because of its strong push for well-rounded students. It has many co-curricular opportunities for student jobs, clubs, organizations with a strong established student society. The campus itself is beautiful and is very close to downtown Kingston. That combined with its strong reputation made the school an obvious choice.
