One Student's Review of Queen's

RH
7.0 /10

The university was close to home, had a unique program not offered in many schools and had a small campus where you could go from one end to the other in 10 minutes. Student housing was near the campus and students were very close.

Course Curriculum :

It was a little all over the place. There were a lot of different courses and ranging topics, so you got a good intro into multiple subjects. But it felt like it was lacking a true depth on the subject as well as practical experience.

Fees :

You had to pay the tuition by semester. Other fees included an unlimited public bus pass, gym fee, health insurance, etc. As well there were a couple of other fees you could opt out of that supported school clubs and initiatives.

Examination Structure :

It depended on the course. Some classes only had assignments, no exams. Other classes had a midterm and then a final exam. Other classes still had assignments, monthly tests, a midterm and a final exam. It was dependent on the professor.

Faculty :

Most were nice and helpful, looking out for the best interest of their students. But others showed a lack of empathy and understanding, putting harsh requirements and none unattainable deadlines.
