One of the best programs for automotive engineering. The Clemson's automotive department is one of it's kind. The department provides state of the art facilities for automotive engineering. The department also boasts of good placements in top tier companies, along with extensive research opportunities.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is up to date and is par with the industry standards. The course is designed such that it makes the student industry ready by the time they graduate bout of the program. Especially, the automotive engineering department is one of the best. The department pays special focus on industry relevant internships and research. The student are given first hand experience on SOTA technology and tools

Exams :

My GRE score was 320 with verbal of 150 and quant of 170. I did bad in my verbal and due to which my scores took a plunge.

Placement :

The post study placements are good. In my opinion teh average placement packages are close to $90 k. Many company like bmw, zf transmission and many oems visit yeh university

Internship :

I did some internship in one of the companies. The company is Los Alamos national lab.

Fees :

Around $65000

Scholarship :

I did not receive any scholarship. I am a PhD student so get my full tuition fee covered alond with a salary which I draw working as a research assistant within the university.

Faculty :

We have a lot of nice professors. The faculty to students ration is around 1:11. The faculty is extremely well versed and most of them come with a strong academic and industrial background. The department chair Dr. Zoran Felipe is the pioneer in automotive engine and hybrid technology.

Campus Life :

The campus is one of the most plush and beautiful campus in all of the south Carolina. The university and it's satellite campuses are well connected through bus services. The university offers lot of student jobs on campus for the students to support their livelihood.

Hostel :

The accommodations in Clemson main campus is comparatively cheaper and well connected through bus services. The Greenville campus is located in Greenville and the housing in Greenville is a bit costly.
