Master of Science [M.Sc] (Early Admit) From IIT Gandhinagar, Gandhinagar

Aspirants seeking admission to a 2-year Full-time M.Sc Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

• BSc students from select colleges who will graduate in 2024 and are among the top 5 rank holders (General/EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (SC/ST) in the department at the end of their pre-final year are eligible to apply.
• BTech students from NITs and select colleges who will graduate in 2024 and are among the top 5 rank holders (General/EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (SC/ST) in the department at the end of their pre-final year are eligible to apply
• BTech students from IITs who will graduate in 2024 with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year are eligible to apply

Entrance Exam: 

A valid GATE/JAM score is not mandatory for admission into the IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MSc program. Admission is usually offered on the basis of academic performance, written tests, and personal interviews. 

IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MSc admission 2024 is expected to begin soon. The institute offers this program in three different disciplines namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For admission to this program, the institute conducts a written test and a personal interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of the academic credentials, writeen test and/or interview. Students admitted through the Early Admit MSc program will be given a monthly scholarship of INR 5,000. IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MSc Eligibility Criteria

• BSc students from select colleges who will graduate in 2024 or have graduated in 2023 and are among the top 5 rank holders (General/EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (SC/ST) in the departments at the end of their pre-final year and final year respectively are eligible to apply.
• BTech students from NITs and select colleges who will graduate in 2024 or have graduated in 2023 and are among the top 5 rank holders (General/ EWS/ OBC) or top  10 rank holders (SC/ ST) in the departments at the end of their pre-final year and final year respectively are eligible to apply.
• BTech students from IITs who will graduate in 2024 or have graduated in 2023 with a CPI/ CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3-year and 4 years respectively are eligible to apply.

IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MSc Selection Criteria

• Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary.
• The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written tests, and/ or interviews.
