IIT Gandhinagar BTech 2024: Cutoff, Fees, Placement, Admission

IIT Gandhinagar BTech Admissions 2023 are over. JoSAA has released the round 1 – 6 cutoff for IIT Gandhinagar. The BTech CSE Cutoff 2023 for IIT Gandhinagar remained 1123-1555 for General Category. IIT Gandhinagar offers BTech as its flagship program where admissions are granted as per JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. JEE Main registrations are expected to start from November 2023 and the exam will be conducted in 2 sessions. Candidates having a valid JEE Main score need to register for JEE Advanced, where registration will commence in April 2024. NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and Session 2 Exam dates. Selection Criteria:

• Admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of a valid JEE Advance score. Candidates clearing JEE Mains are only eligible to sit for JEE Advanced examination. 
• This is followed by JoSAA counselling. 
• Candidates who have successfully cleared JEE Advance have to register for JoSAA counselling, conducted in 6 rounds.  

How to Apply for JEE?

• Candidates must register themselves for the JEE Advance exam. 
• Pay the application fee via net banking, debit card or credit card by following the instructions that are given.
• Upon successful payment, print the Confirmation Page and keep it for future reference.
• After the JEE Advanced Result is out, candidates need to register for JoSAA.For this candidates need to fill in the preferred choices and lock them.

IIT Gandhinagar BTech Admission without JEE Advanced

IIT Gandhinagar has a provisional of giving admission to students who apply via certain Olympiads. Students qualifying the Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, and Informatics olympiads are selected for admission without the JEE Advanced scores. 

IIT Gandhinagar BTech Eligibility (Without) JEE

The basic eligibility for students applying without JEE Advanced scores is mentioned below:

• The candidate must be in class 11^th or 12^th or must have passed Class 12th.
• Selection in one of the following training camps:
  • International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camps (IMOTC) organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).
  • Orientation-cum-Selection Camps (OCSCs) for Science subjects (Chemistry, Physics), organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).
  • International Olympiad for Informatics Training Camp (IOITC) organized by the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS).

• It is a four years course. The entire course is divided into 8 semesters
