Remarks :

You have to qualify to jee mains for admission. The application form is available on josaa site. Any reservation can be availed if eligible. The admission process is simple. After qualifying jee mains, fill in the preference order of NITs and you will get it according to your rank.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.tech is a good course to opt for. It provides good career opportunities. The faculty: student ratio is 1:8. Most professors and associate professors are well-qualified. The exams were conducted timely and the difficulty level of the exams is medium.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered to all students for 6 months. All the major companies which visit for placements also offer internships to the students during 3rd year. Students can also opt for research projects.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are started in 7th semester. All big companies visit for placements like Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Tata power, Maruti Suzuki, HUL etc. The average package for IT companies is 800000 and for non-IT it is 500000. Around 70-80% students get placement offers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees include tuition fees, hostel room rent, and some miscellaneous charges. It is to be paid at the start of the semester. The cost to study along with a hostel is around 125000-150000 per year. The economically weaker students get concessions only on tuition fees.

Campus Life :

The biggest annual fest in NIT KURUKSHETRA is Confluence. It is conducted generally in January/February. Techspardha is tech fest of NIT kurukshetra and it is conducted in even semester. The college has a huge collection of books. All necessary books are available. Lecture halls are well equipped. They have air conditioning. All major sports are played. All sports accessories are available. A swimming pool and indoor badminton court are also there. There are lots of social groups.

Inside Mewat Engineering college : A detailed exploration of campus life, academics and beyond.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.

In BTech mechanical, we have a lot of things to do and better placement opportunities. And our student ratio is quite good. And our faculty is well educated and highly qualified and teaching methods are very good. Placement Experience:

Placements are very good at this college, especially for CS and IT students. About 95% of students belonging to the CS/IT branch got placed. The highest package offered this year is about 62 lacs per annum and the average salary is about 12 lacs per annum. After getting my degree and placement then I have some business plans.
