Remarks :

I have taken admitted to NIT Kurukshetra by qualifying JEE Main exam. To be eligible for this exam you have to secure 75% marks in class 12th boards. You can find the application form on the NTA website. You have to pay some application fee for that form. This exam has also some reservation benefits like if you belong to SC or ST, then you get fee benefits in college. Also, there is a quota for the students who belong to the state where the college is situated. This exam can be conducted in offline mode instead of online as there are many computers that do not work properly due to which students have to face many problems and their time also gets wasted during the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very nice and enjoyable. Apart from studies, there are also sports that are compulsory for every student. The lab classes are also compulsory which gives us practical knowledge. There are also various societies and clubs in our college which enhance communication skills and also helps to interact will the seniors. Also, ragging is strictly prohibited on our campus. Also most of our faculty members are Ph.D. holders which teaches us very efficiently. Faculty members provide the right path how to go ahead in college.

Internships Opportunities :

There are various big companies that offer good internships with a good amount of stipends like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. I don't have much knowledge about the projects given by that companies as I am also a fresher. But the outcomes are nice as I have seen various seniors who are doing internships and getting a good amount of stipend.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good at this college, especially for CS and IT students. About 95% of students belonging to the CS/IT branch got placed. The highest package offered this year is about 62 lacs per annum and the average salary is about 12 lacs per annum. After getting my degree and placement then I have some business plans.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to my opinion, the fee structure is a bit high for the students belonging to the general category. There are several opportunities to reduce the fee through several government scholarships. There are several good companies that provide internships with stipends in our college.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very interesting and enjoyable. We come to know about various things and get an environment of coding culture. There is various fest that is conducted in our college like Tech Spardha which is conducted in the month of mid-January. Around all books are available in our library and if it is not available then we can make them accessible by writing a simple letter. Sports are compulsory and every individual has to select at least one sport. There is also inter-NIT competition in several sports. There are several clubs like Technobyte, I & F, etc. which are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is quite good. Infrastructure is also satisfying. All facility is available in the hostel and college itself. The mess has also a decent meal quality but not up to mark according to me. The registration process is very simple for issuing hostel,

Positive Points About NIT ( why you choose NIT)

Placement Experience:

1. After the second semester, the student will apply for an internship, and some come to university also. 2. Infosys, Wipro, tincture, HCL, etc, and many other companies are there. 3. Last year the highest package goes up to 40 LPA and an average of 8 to 9 LPA. 4. Percentage of a student getting a job is 70% 5. My plans are simple just get the highest package at the university.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A large number of companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Infosys recruit students each year. The percentage of students placed in the Placement Drive of 2022 was around 77% which is quite decent.
