Remarks :

The admission process is not very cumbersome. The required documents to be uploaded are mentioned on the Institute website. The website also provides the complete schedule for the registration process as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the IT Branch as it offered me exposure to numerous opportunities for my future. The faculty is a combination of new recruits and experienced teachers. Both of them combine to present the concepts in an easy-to-understand way. The course for a semester includes 6 subjects along with Practical Labs, Sports, and a Value-added course. The two Sessional exams held during the semester are not hard if one has sincerely attended the lectures.

Class Size : 82Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are available starting from the 5th semester. Many startups and some top companies recruit students for internships, while some work as freelancers as well. There is a possibility of a Pre-placement Offer i.e the company you join as an intern may hire you permanently and you work as full-time.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A large number of companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Infosys recruit students each year. The percentage of students placed in the Placement Drive of 2022 was around 77% which is quite decent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of living is reasonable, considering the way the campus is maintained. Life in the hostels is decent as well. Students can also avail of scholarships under many schemes offered by the Central Government and the State Government of Haryana.

Campus Life :

The Institute has a well-maintained, lush green campus. The technical societies organize various cultural and technical fests. The annual cultural fest Confluence is organized in November while the annual tech fest Techspardha is organized in February. The institute has a well-organized gymnasium as well.

Positive Points About NIT ( why you choose NIT)

Placement Experience:

1. After the second semester, the student will apply for an internship, and some come to university also. 2. Infosys, Wipro, tincture, HCL, etc, and many other companies are there. 3. Last year the highest package goes up to 40 LPA and an average of 8 to 9 LPA. 4. Percentage of a student getting a job is 70% 5. My plans are simple just get the highest package at the university.

Nice college

Course Curriculum Overview:

In BTech mechanical, we have a lot of things to do and better placement opportunities. And our student ratio is quite good. And our faculty is well educated and highly qualified and teaching methods are very good. Our term exams were a little bit tricky but If you regularly attend a class you definitely maintain a good cgpa.
