Remarks :
To get admission you need to clear JEE mains and the eligibility criteria for the same differs from year to year and branch to branch. You can find the application form on the site of JEE mains only and after that during the selection process reservation benefits are provided for sure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are several courses available at NIT Kurukshetra, currently which include CS, IT ECE, Mech, PIE, EE, and Civil. For entry in any of the courses, you need to score a good rank in JEE mains and clear the cutoff of the particular course for that particular year. The faculty here is very helpful and supportive in all fields. There are senior-level faculty who have a wide range of knowledge as well.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides a lot of internship opportunities through which the students get to know about their field and interest and this also helps them to focus on placements and it gives them an overview of how the industries work.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell in the Institute. Various companies contact the placement cell and the placement cell works to bring more companies as well. So yes they do help the students a lot. They provide information about the companies and how to crack the interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of the college is pretty normal, the tuition fee is 62500 per semester and the hostel rent is around 7000 per semester. In total including other charges the fees of 78000 per semester for students who have an annual income of more than 5 lacs, recession in fees is given to students in the below 5 lac range, and various scholarship facilities are also provided.
Campus Life :
NIT Kurukshetra campus life is very good. The crowd is more from Haryana. The cultural clubs are great to be part of. Students can learn a lot from them. They can focus and work on whatever they want to do or learn something new. The fests are a treat to our eyes. A lot of people come to our college to participate in our fests.
Hostel Facilities :
There are different hostels provided by the college for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is great. There are around 10 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. Mess food is not so good but it is manageable.
