Remarks :

The admission process is easy. First of all one need to give JEE Mains exam and on the basis of Percentile obtained, seats are allowed through JOSAA according to choices filled. Application form can be obtained online easily.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main purpose of choosing mechanical engineering was the vast knowledge that can be gathered in this course. Practical knowledge is provided in this course along with theoretical knowledge. The faculty to student ratio is 1:65 for all classes. The faculty of this college are highly educated and are mostly post graduate and PhD holders. The exams schedule is proper and on time always.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Various internship opportunities were provided with students along with LOR(Letter of Recommendation) to work in core companies like Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes etc. along with stipend. Projects like cycle time estimation, WIS etc. were taught during internship.

Placement Experience :

The placements are simple awesome. The average package of last year students was 10LPA. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year and maximum students get placed till 7th semester. Various core companies like YAMAHA, MARUTI SUZUKI, ISGEC, BPCL, MAHINDRA, JAGUAR etc. come for college placement. The highest package offered was 28LPA and lowest was 4LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees of 4 years along with additional charges for this course is around 4 lakhs. Fees is to be paid semester wise and scholarship opportunities are also provided for bright students. Along with scholarship, various sponsorships are also provided to students when they apply their knowledge in making practical projects as well. Stipend is also provided with internships which can be done parallel with course.

Campus Life :

The life at campus is great. Huge campus with greenery all around and completely safe environment. Ragging free campus in which tech fests happen frequently. Autokriti- international fest for mechanical engineering students happens every year in which students from all over india take part. The variety of books is easily available in library. Various social and cultural groups like fine arts club, singing club, photography club etc. are also there in the campus.

Positive Points About NIT ( why you choose NIT)

Placement Experience:

1. After the second semester, the student will apply for an internship, and some come to university also. 2. Infosys, Wipro, tincture, HCL, etc, and many other companies are there. 3. Last year the highest package goes up to 40 LPA and an average of 8 to 9 LPA. 4. Percentage of a student getting a job is 70% 5. My plans are simple just get the highest package at the university.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A large number of companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Infosys recruit students each year. The percentage of students placed in the Placement Drive of 2022 was around 77% which is quite decent.
