If you are a student of NMIMS Mumbai, it is mandatory for you to adhere to the dress code policy. This policy is designed to ensure that you maintain a certain standard of appearance and professionalism. Here are some of the details of the dress code that you must follow:

• Classroom Dress Code: You are required to wear smart casuals for your classroom purposes. Half pants, shorts, or capris are not allowed. Casual footwear like bathroom slippers, floaters, or flip-flops is also not allowed. Girls are also advised not to wear short skirts, spaghetti tops, racer-backs, and halter tops.
• Function Dress Code: For all functions held in school, including seminars and conferences, it is mandatory to wear the Institute blazer, tie or cravat, and lapel pin.
• Placement Dress Code: During the placement events, boys are required to wear formal shirts with ties and blazers. Girls are required to wear business formal with a blazer and closed formal shoes.
• Convocation Dress Code: During the convocation, you must wear a blazer, tie/cravat/lapel pin with formal shoes, which is compulsory. Wearing skirts, shorts, one-piece, or three-fourths is not allowed. Gowns and caps will be worn over the dress for the ceremony.

By following the dress code policy of NMIMS, you will project a professional image, which will reflect positively on you and the school. Therefore, it is important that you take the dress code policy seriously and follow it at all times

Firstly, The admission process is not founded on your percentile; it mostly depends on your final rank. The rank will vary every year according to the number of students who attended the examination. With this percentile, you can secure a seat in either Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering at NIT Silchar.

The kind of activities students do on their weekends depend on their own interests and personalities. Some prefer getting extra sleep to cover up their sleep deprivation while some spend their weekends exploring the city. Some spend their time playing games, watching their favorite series or movies, etc My friend at NIT Patna shared his favorite pass-time activities

• Wake up early and embarking on the journey to the Banks of Ganges behind the campus and enjoying the tranquil ambiance and sound of waves splashing.
• Participate in the Fill Your Wall With Drawings scheme.
• Enjoy roadside tea near Patna University, one of the most delicious teas in that area, very famous among the students.
• Go for a morning walk and take in the serenity of the place.

You can also pursue your own hobbies or play sports of your choice. 

One of my friends studied at REVA University. According to him, CSE here is really good and has a great reputation. Here are some facts about it.

• The academic curriculum is really good and updated to match modern standards.
• The faculty is very helpful and cooperative.
• They groom you to become industry-ready. 
• Hostels are clean and well furnished. They are also provided with facilities like Wifi, Gym, laundry, etc.
• Placements are also good. Several top MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra participate in the placement program.

The student intake here is very high. They take around 3500-4000 students per year in B.Tech which in other colleges is 900 students.

If you are joining here through COMED-K or through management quota, then look for other options, as the money you will invest in it will not be worthy.
