I did my M.Tech in Microelectronics from IIIT Allahabad. Our college has top infrastructure, hostels, internet facilities, fests, etc. But I would like to enlighten you about the lab facilities at IIITA.
IIITA has one of the best labs for fabrication. It is equipped with all the basic machines. The Phd. students and lab staff are very helpful, and will provide you all the necessary guidance. ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) is installed in the lab.
In IIITA, you’ll operate the lab machines by yourself. This includes washing used funnels, cleaning the oxidation chamber, and cleaning the sputtering machine after finishing your tasks. Mandatory lab timings are from 9am to 5 pm, but you can access the labs at any time.
The professor in charge of the fabrication lab, Dr. B.R. Singh has 40+ years of experience in fabrication. Other than fabrication, all the softwares for Analog and Digital Design are available. The same are headed over by different faculty members. The field of NanoElectronics is headed by Dr. Sitangshu Bhattacharya.
If you are interested in M.Tech Microelectronics, I can assure you that IIIT Allahabad is the right place for you.
No, CSAM at IIIT Delhi is definitely not worth it. Here is a detailed review of the program as shared by a friend
All in all, the CSAM branch of IIIT Delhi isn't a good choice if you are primarily interested in placements. It is futile to study such high-level Math if only your knowledge of Data Structures, OS, DBMS, etc. will be considered during placements. CSAM should be considered only if you are interested in research in applied math.
Here are a few points pertaining to the faculty of BITS Pilani.
Lastly, comparing engineering colleges is highly illogical as it is all a matter of your competence and not the institute you belong to.
My brother graduated from Asutosh College. Here are his insights.
Overall, the college will definitely help you grow.
Food Processing and Engineering is an amazing field for students with a passion for food processing. NIT Rourkela has an excellent department in Food Processing and Engineering. This course mainly dealt with food mechanisms and maintaining quality
This field opens sufficient research and job opportunities, and this institute provides placement support with a decent salary package. Other than campus placement, you can also opt for IIM-A (ABM), XIMB (MBA), NIBM (Pune), or BITS Pilani. Some students prefer doing a PhD and MTech in NIFTEM as well.
Yes, it is possible to prepare for CA, while pursuing a B.Com from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Many do so. But you will have to manage attendance, lectures, presentation, projects, and exams along with CA preparation. Which won’t be a cakewalk. NM College has strict attendance rules.
Chemistry is the best department at NIT Hamirpur. They provide well-equipped labs, good infrastructure, and awesome campus life. The teachers are supportive and encourage students to express their viewpoints and engage in open discussion. You are also free to ask questions or express doubts. They will provide as much support for our growth. If you are a nature lover, then this campus is at your pace. So you can choose NIT Hamirpur without any hesitation.
NIT Hamirpur introduced Chemical Engineering in 2013. As a comparatively newer branch, its infrastructure is under development. The faculty is great. The teachers are supportive and possess good knowledge of their field.
You’ll be marked leniently in your exams. The department is quite nurturing and offers a stress-free environment for its students. As far as placements are concerned, 71.70% students from Chemical Engineering were placed during 2022. 43 offers were received in total, and the highest salary was recorded at INR 10 LPA. So the placements are very decent.
NIT Hamirpur has a beautiful campus, surrounded by mesmerizing natural beauty. You’ll really enjoy your time over there and gain a lifetime experience.
If you have an interest in the field of Chemical Engineering, you can definitely consider NIT Hamirpur for your degree.
Law is a profession that promises a lot of versatility. According to some of my friends who opted for Law, you can pursue a number of avenues if you have a degree in law. Some of them include:
Last but not the least; you can try your hand in litigation: This is the most traditional form of law practice. You will have to go to courts, interact with clients, address the jury and judges, etc. This will get you a lot of clout.
The branch change policy solely relies on the CGPA. The candidate should have scored an 8.5 or higher in the semester. The CSE branch has tight competition, so seat vacancies are limited here. In such cases, you need to have a 9+ GPA to secure a seat at the CSE branch.
You need to be consistent in your studies to get an 8 or higher in your semesters. It is a bit challenging for a newcomer, as they need to adapt to the new environment by giving equal importance to their studies. So be persistent and attend all classes and labs; then you can easily change your branch
