The BITS Pilani hyderabad curriculum is intended to be thorough and demanding with a focus on giving students a solid foundation in their chosen field of study. In a number of fields, including engineering, science, management and humanities, the institution also provides UG, graduate and PHD programmes. The faculty members are experts in their professions and hold advanced degrees. The ratio is probably around 1 is to 100. The exams are taken very timely and in a strict manner with no delay. The difficulty level is mostly hard as they expect a lot from students and prepare them for the outside world.
Any student who completed 12th std and a repeater could sit for the exam BITSAT which is the official entrance examination for entering any BITS institute. I gave the exam on 7th August 2021 in Mumbai. I got 257/450 in the exam and according to the cutoff, I was allotted the Electronics and Instrumentation (ENI) branch after 11 iterations and 2 spot rounds. The admission process was kind of tricky due to the corona situation, but in my opinion, the college handled it pretty well.
All three campus has a centralized PS and Placement facility. The PS is an internship every student has to pursue mandatorily in order to complete the degree in 2nd and final year. Most of the students get places in PS2 whereas the rest sit for Placement and get placed. The exact statistics are not released but apparently, there are 100% chances of getting placed.
BITS Pilani conducts the BITSAT entrance examination for admissions to Undergraduate Degrees. There are 3 Indian campuses - Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa. The admission process of my college is centralized and iterations take into account your choice of preference of branch and campus. Admission is done purely on the basis of merit and there is no reservation in any form. The application fee and other relevant details can be found on the BITS ADMISSION website. The admission process at my college is Smooth.
Nearly every company visits the campus. Students in their 4th year sit for the placements(5th year for dualities). The average package of the college is around 18LPA, and there is 100% placement. Students go for Practise school (PS) to gain industrial exposure(PS-1 after end of first year and PS-2 in the final year)
For admission, one needs to clear the BITSAT exam to get into the three BITS campus in India. Students need to have a min 75% on boards. BITSAT exams had 5 sections namely, Physics Chemistry Maths English & Logical reasoning
The placements do not need to be questioned in bits Hyderabad. If a person maintains his CGPA he would be eligible for most of the companies coming to the campus. Many people minor in Data science and finance and take placements too.
The campus is good. The campus environment is good. No reservations. Good avg package. Provides a good environment for the students. The fee is a lot make sure people joining here make full use of what you are paying. There are many clubs. There are single and double-room hostels. All hostel are non-ac.
As bits is one of the most prestigious colleges in the country I always had a dream to study here. Luckily I cleared the cutoff for computer science which was also my preference due to my major inclination toward pursuing a career in its sector. Coming to the student-faculty ratio since cse is the most demanded branch the ratio is quite high but again there are separate tutorial classes and chamber discussion hours where you can clear your doubts with faculty one to one and that's more than enough. The faculty here mostly have done their PhDs and majors from foreign institutes or prestigious Indian one. The exams become quite easy if you have attended classes though there's a zero attendance policy.
For admission into bits you have to give bitsat which is now held two times a year and the best of two scores would be taken into consideration. after bitsat there are usually 7-8 iterations mostly at the same time with jossa and after that, you will be called into college if you have cleared the cutoff.
from the third year 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements and they should not contain any backlogs. all the companies like multinational companies like Microsoft google amazon bosch Wipro etc. highest ctc is 60 LPA and the average CTC is 30lpa.
we should write the exam which is conducted by the bits college and we have to score above 250 marks. all the details about the college will be in the bits portal like admission fees etc. all the admission process is good.

The admission process for Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani involves a two-step process: the BITSAT (BITS Admission Test) and the PI (Personal Interview) round. The BITSAT is a computer-based test that assesses the candidate's aptitude in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English. The test is conducted across multiple centers in India and abroad, and the candidate's scores in the test are used to determine their eligibility for the PI round. The PI round is an interview-based round where the candidate is assessed on their general awareness, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates who clear both the BITSAT and PI rounds are offered admission to BITS Pilani. As for suggestions for improvement, one thing that could be improved is the accessibility of the BITSAT exam centers. Currently, there are only a limited number of centers across India and abroad, and this could be a hindrance for some candidates who live far from the nearest center.
