How to Apply for IIT JAM? 

The candidates who are eligible for studying M.Sc have to take the IIT JAM. Follow these steps to register:

  • Visit the official website
  • Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email address, and mobile phone number. Create a password.
  • After submitting the registration form, an enrolment I will be sent to the mobile number.
  • Fill out the form. Include the details of the JAM papers and the choice of JAM examination cities.
  • Pay the application fee online and keep a printout for future reference.
  • You can download the admit card from this portal later.

For counseling:

  • Visit the website of CCMN and click on “New Registration”.
  • Enter the JAM score details.
  • Enter the personal details carefully.
  • Click on “proceed’ to preview filled-out form.
  • Create a password and click on “Submit”. An OTP will be sent to your number.
  • Enter the OTP. A Permanent Identifier (PID) will be created. Once this happens, no more registration will be allowed. Use this to log on to the Candidate’s Corner from the next time onwards.

  • The entire course work of the M.Sc. program is divided into 4 semesters in which a student has to undergo the courses of study in the first 3 semesters, while in the 4th semester, the candidate is required to submit his/her projects.
