Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose computer science and engineering because I am a tech enthusiast and I always try to learn new fields to find my passion. The faculty are knowledgeable and quite cooperative. There is a timely mid-sem and end-sem. They are not difficult but can't be solved without studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking, I chose NIT Delhi because It was under the range of expected college that I could get at my rank. Other colleges that I got in previous rounds include(Cse from Nit Bhopal, Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, and Patna) My JEE advance rank was not at all good so I Could only get the last few remaining branches of new IITs. Decided on Delhi because it has one of the best IT hubs in the vicinity of Gurgaon and Noida. Other reasons include the new infrastructure of college and hostels. I don't know Faculty-student ratio but teach faculties are interactive and there is a good student-teacher relationship with a lot of the teachers Faculties are highly qualified. Some teachers cannot teach properly. They know the subject but they cannot make you understand the subject. It's a normal thing in all colleges. The college schedule is rapid in the first two semesters but gradually the load decreases with a good amount of gaps between semesters and within it as well. It is not difficult for students to pass exams.

Ques. Which is better for CSE, NIT Jalandhar or NIT Delhi?

● Top Answer By Yash Mehra on 15 Apr 21

Definitely, you should go for NIT Jalandhar. There are various reasons and differences due to which NIT Jalandhar is the better option for CSE.  The first and foremost reason is the establishment. NIT Jalandhar is a well-established institute whereas NITD is still juggling to fit in the stream.  With the better ranking and almost all the courses available NIT Jalandhar has a huge campus which will give you a better campus life. Whereas, NITD is a small campus with a few numbers of available courses.  When it comes to CSE, there has been a decent placement from the past few years. Few top companies that one could count on recruitment are Amazon, Sapient, IBM, Infosys, etc.  Although NITD, being in the central position gives you good internship choices to CSE students in the Delhi NCR region. So, if you want to opt for a particular CSE branch then you can take a chance but for any other stream, NITD is a big no.  NITJ has a good CSE alumni base who are working in top companies. Therefore, placement is never a big problem here.  The table below shows a brief insight on both NITs: Particulars NIT Jalandhar NIT Delhi NIRF Ranking 52 251 Rank band Highest Package 43.17 LPA 39 LPA Average Package 13.57 LPA 11.2 LPA CSE Placed Students 92 55 Both the colleges have some pros and cons but NIT Jalandhar still provides you with the best....Read more

Ques. Which is better, IIT Delhi Textile Technology or NIT Delhi CSE (considering I have a very high interest in programming)?

● Top Answer By Yash Mehra on 10 Apr 23

Both institutes are well known for their excellent education and opportunities offered. So you can choose the branch and college on the basis of your own preferences. However, some points you might want or consider Campus : NIT Delhi operates from a temporary campus which is located far away from the country and its permanent campus is still under construction. IIT Delhi on the other hand is a fully-fledged established Institute with a fully functioning well facilitated campus. Placements : Although Textile Engineering has very few core job opportunities, people tend to go for non-core jobs instead to secure a high-paying job at a top company. Meanwhile, NIT Delhi being younger than IIT Delhi has fewer companies visiting campus with CS roles despite being a demanded branch. If you are actually keen to pursue CSE, go for better Engineering colleges like NITs, DTU, NSIT, and IIIT D. In fact even at IIT Delhi, you can pursue your coding passion alongside your main branch textile and sit for IT placements. The final decision is yours to make and you can consider additional aspects like fees, location, and academics while making your decision....Read more

Ques. IIT CSE vs IIIT Hyderabad CSE vs NIT CSE?

● Top Answer By Adinath Jain on 21 Mar 23

You can go ahead with the following order to know which among IIT CSE, IIIT Hyderabad CSE, and NIT CSE are better: IIT B IIT D IIT M IIT K IIT KGP IIT R CSE BITS Pilani - Pilani Campus CSE IIT H IIT G IIT BHU CSE IIIT Hyderabad CSE BITS Pilani - Goa, Hyderabad Campus CSE NIT CSE However, it's important to note that IIIT H has the best Computer Science Department and one of the best coding environments in the country. If you're genuinely interested in coding and related stuff, you should definitely consider IIIT H without any second thoughts. The above-formulated list is based on brand name, alumni network, campus life, academic workload, and more importantly, the priority order that many students actually follow. When you've worked so hard for two years, you will always have that inner voice driving you toward choosing IITs. After all, everyone wants to enjoy the perks of being an IITian. So, follow your interests and make a decision that you won't regret. Keep in mind that all of these options are amazing and you have a great opportunity ahead of you....Read more
