The Course in 1st year is pretty much common in all engineering colleges and life is very chill. Attendance is considered mandatory but it's quite flexible and it is not that strict. The faculty teaching have high education and they are helpful and solve our doubts. The student ratio is good in our college.
The course has good market demand and is my passion. over 10 faculties there are 120 students Highly qualified faculty Every 1.5 months there are exams except in the case of holidays in the third and fourth year when people have to do mandatory internships in exchange for credits to pass college
I chose B. Tech in Mechanical engeering because engineering develops your analytical skills and makes you more innovative. Mechanical engineering is easier to visualise and you can feel its applications in your daily life. There are various domains within mechanical engineering where you can work like: manufacturing, energy modelling, aerodynamics, heat transfer, etc. The faculty student ratio is around 1:70 which I think should be made better. The teachers are well qualified but I feel that teaching methodology and curriculum should be revised to meet latest industry standards and secondly more practical work should be included. So, the teaching method is on the weaker side but some faculty members are really good and they will teach you by their best efforts. The exams are held timely and are moderate in level. So, you can pass them easily if you are regularly attending the classes and start revising just 2 weeks before the exams.
I chose this B.tech program in mechanical engineering because of my deep curiosity and passion for this field. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1 to 70 and the qualification of the faculty is either Phd or the ones pursuing it. yes, there are professors, assistant professors, as well as Phd students The examination process is simple, the semester is approx. 5 months and evaluation is done through midsems and end-sems. The difficulty level of the exam depends on the subjects you're studying.
IIIT Delhi CSE is a better option compared to DTU Mechanical. It is a great option for pursuing a CSE degree. The institute has a great faculty pool. It also offers good placement opportunities. According to the 2021 placement highlights, IIIT Delhi CSE average package is INR 16.81 LPA. IIIT Delhi also has an active research culture.
DTU offers a better brand value, campus life, but as a branch, CSE is better than Mechanical.
Among the above two institutes, for students interested specifically in computer science, JMI CSE should be a better option. But, students having no specific preference in streams should consider Mechanical at DTU.
The table below gives a brief level of comparison among the two departments of the institutes.

Key Highlights:
Considering all the above factors, both the institutes have their own set of advantages and are worth considering.
If you are interested in the Mechanical branch, you should definitely go for DTU Mechanical. DTU has one of the best Mechanical departments in the country. There are many tech teams and societies for the branch. Tech teams such as Defianz Racing, AUV DTU, UAS DTU, etc. even participated in competitions of international levels and won.
The placement records are also good for the branch. Many PSUs frequently visit the campus placement to recruit students. The highlights of DTU Mechanical Engineering placements show the average package to be INR 7 LPA. ONGC, Mahindra, etc. are among the top recruiting companies.
