Remarks :

There are two modes of admission based on boards, based on JEE percentile. I got admission based on the boards PCM percentage for Punjab state students the cutoff was 97.3 % in PCM and for other state students, the cut-off was 99-100% for CSE for other computer related degree have can be allotted if you have 95%and you are from another state whereas Punjab state students can get computer-based branches in 92% also for application process keep checking Thapar's official site (thapar.edu).

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is in trend there are several exams you have in Thapar sessional MST and EST, then you have lab evaluations also ..and there are total 6 subjects and in a semester there are 2 sessional, so you will have no time when you are in Thapar.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In the third year college will provide you with internship opportunities. It's about 2 months when you have to go on inter ship and gain the concerned experience from there. Thapar also invites companies to operate internship opportunities.

Placement Experience :

Thapar has a very nice brand name, it comes under the best college for engineering. If you didn't get a job from campus still you have a very big brand name on your cv which is highly respected and well known.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For 1st semester the scholarship is based on jee percentile and after that, it will be continued in the yearly CGPA. Fees at Thapar are very high. Approx. 5 lakhs per year. There are good opportunities for jobs in Thapar.

Campus Life :

There are several activities going on in Thapar, there are several societies and students chapter which keep students busy on weekends besides this there are good opportunities for sports also as the inter-college sports fest Urja.

Hostel Facilities :

There is bed, almirah, study table, chair, Ac, and fan provided in my room its semester rent is 43000 and the mess fee is 20000 per semester. You have to fill out the form at the Thapar site for hostel accommodations and you will also get a concerned email regarding this.

Hostel Fee : INR 140000 per year
