Remarks :

Eligibility: At least 75% in 12th standard and Jee advanced rank according to the cut-off of that year. That was around 2200 general in 2019. Before JEE advanced you'll have to qualify for JEE Mains. The application form, dates and fees would be available on the JosAA website. The closing rank of the OBC category was around 1000.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Electronics branch and IIT BHU was a good balance of branch and reputed IIT. The branch is also considered a circuital branch which provides subsequently more opportunities during the placement season. Most of the faculties are highly qualified and some are recognised researchers in their fields. Mid sem are held at the end of the second month of each sem while end sem is at the end of the fourth month. Assignments are given variably according to profs. Passing these exams is fairly easy but getting good grades is really really hard!

Placement Experience :

In the 7th sem, the placement season starts and you are allowed to sit in those. Decimal Point Analytics, Microsoft, Sprinklr, ServiceNow, Uber, Scifom, Trilogy Innovations (CodeNation), Mentor Graphics (Sicmens), Texas Instruments, Oracle, MyKaarma, Wells Fargo, American Express, INTUIT, UI Path, Standard Chartered BNY Mellon, Digit Insurance, VISA, Axxela, Publicis Sapient, etc. A total of 474 offers on the first day. I might pursue MBA after getting the degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Annual fees are around 1,06,000 plus 6000 for hostel and amenities plus 12000 mess advance each semester. Internship opportunities occur during the 5th sem while placement season starts with the coding round starting in the 3rd month of the 7th sem and interviews start after the end sem exams

Campus Life :

There are mainly 3 fests that take place each year. Firstly, Spardha the sports fest of IIT BHU takes place in the month of October. Kashiyatra, the cultural fest of IIT BHU takes place in the month of January. Finally, Technex the tech fest is in the month of March each year. Books can be issued from the library from 8 am to 6 pm while you can study in the library between 8 am to 11 pm.

Hostel Facilities :

In the first year, you'll have to share a room with 2 more roommates. You'll be provided with a table, a chair and a table. The room will have 2 cupboards only. The food in the first hostel is really good and tasty. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available from 8 am, 12 pm and 8 pm respectively for 2 hours each. Hostels are cheap and wouldn't recommend a PG

AFFORDABLE AVERAGE COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. They visited companies are Infosys, HDFC Bank, HCL, and TCS are the major recruiters. The highest Package was 12 Lpa And Avg Package was 4 Lpa. Percentage of students getting placement is 60%. I would definitely go for off-campus placements of my skills and hard work. Don't depend on college placement.

Life at NIET

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the sixth semester itself. Companies start visiting the college in the mid of the sixth semester. If you are from a computer background then be assured of 100% placement. Other courses available are MBA, BCA MTECH integrated etc. Mostly every student gets placed to maintain the reputation of the college. It has an average package of 500000 per year. After getting the degree I'll be working in the software field

IIT BHU Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose ECE because it is very interesting and gets you good placements. Faculty is very strict about core studies so it is hard to manage side interests. The faculty is well-qualified for teaching and will help you with your curriculum always. Exams are hosted twice every semester and are easy to pass.

A affordable and good college

Placement Experience:

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are excellent, better than most IITs. Placements are held at the end of the 7th semester. Hundreds of companies visit the campus. Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler, Uber, Amazon, Oracle, Cisco, Flipkart, Samsung, Salesforce, and Adobe. A lot of software and banking MNCs hire from IITBHU, also companies hire in core subjects such as Electronics and Mechanical Mining too. More than 300+ PPO offers were given, the Highest package -1,20,00,000 The average CTC of CSE is easily above 45 lakhs. Similarly for lower branches. most companies are open to all branches. this any student can easily get a package above 20 even in lower branches. All students are placed every year unless they want to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT BHU are stellar and beat almost every other IIT. From the 2.15 crore package for CSE last year and very high placements for every branch viz a viz 52 lakhs averaged out by branches. Placement Experience:
