Remarks :

We have to get a good course in JEE Advance exam to get an addmission to this course. Well after getting good marks in jee Advance exam there is a jossa counseling through which you will select this college and after selecting the college they will provide the website of the college where we have to apply for the course and admission. They will also describe the process through the mail. Well, you will get rid of some part of the fees based on your father's annual income criteria just like MYSY. You can also apply for various scholarships after the first year of college by getting a good cgpa scores in the examination. You can also change your department after the first year based on a good cgpa like changing to the computer science department. The admission process is very good and easy I think there should be no change in it as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, I am very interested in aeronautics that's why I choose this course. My target was to learn orbit mechanics, space mechanics, etc. That's why I preferred to study aerospace engineering at IIT Kharagpur. There are around 400 students of all years (1st year, 2nd year.... 5 th year) and around 100 faculty members for aerospace engineering. Some faculties are studied from this college and have very good knowledge about core things and some of has studied from foreign universities and many good colleges from India. They have very good talent as a professor to explain something to students in such a way that a student will never forget this thing. Two examinations happen every semester mid-term and end-term. Both exams are so easy if you just listen to the class very carefully and have done some problems by yourself then you will pass the exams with a very good score and you will get a very good cgpa at the end of the semester.

Internships Opportunities :

Every year 300+ companies came for internships like Google, Microsoft, Honeywell, etc for different roles like software engineer, data scientist, product manager, consultant, etc. And the average stipend is like 70k per month. You can also do some projects under some professors.

Placement Experience :

Student in the 1st semester of their final year is able for sitting in placements. There are around 400+ companies visited the campus for the placements like apple, google, Microsoft, Honeywell, Rubrik, Jane Street, alphagrape, etc. They took around 50 students from different courses. We have the highest package of 3 cr this year for the quant profile of Rubrik. There are around 90-95 got placed every year assuming the student is suited for placement. Some students also plan for a master's, Ph.D., or some research program after getting a degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is fix cost of the study fee of 1 lakh per semester that you have paid. It's called the tution fee. Apart from it, you have to some charges like electricity fee, wifi fee, laboratory fees, and medical fees. You have to also pay 15000 for the hostel and mess fee. You will get a scholarship based on your father's annual income criteria. You will also get so many scholarships like Mean Cum Merit which will get back you to your tution fee based on your cgpa score. Apart from it if you are good at sports and technology then you will also get a good scholarship for your achievements. You will also get a chance to get an internship through college which is very highly paid.

Campus Life :

We have kshitij and spring fest held during the spring semester. kshitij is a technology festival and spring fest is an entertaining festival where some celebrities came and entertain us. We have Asia's biggest library so there are so many Books regarding your course or other than your course for reading and also we have a digital library where you can read online books also. We also have a journal section in our library. Classrooms are very big and Mainly divided into two categories: circular and rectangular. The rectangular classes are very big and circular classes are small as compared to rectangular. There is central AC in every classroom along with 2 smart projectors. We also have a general championship held every spring semester. Where there are 3 types of events held: sports and games, technology and culture. These all are extra academic activities. You can part in each activity accordingly to your interest.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are either 3 sharing or 2 sharing or single room. Rooms are very big and good in condition and also they renovated if required. There is one bed, one table, one light, one chair, and one fan per person in the room. We have our private mess for our hostel where food is so delicious and every day one person has to take charge of mess duty for encountering good food quality. There is the no different registration process for the hostel and it is all counted singly in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

Placement starts at the end of the 6th semester. Those who are eligible for the placements can sit and crack jobs. Reputed MNCs like Capgemini, Cyient, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, IBM, etc visit the college for placements. The highest package is around 8 lakhs/y and the average is around 4 lakhs/year. For Placements, students are available from the 9th semester. There are lots of companies who visit for placement in IIT Kharagpur. Some of them are- Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EXL, Philips, etc. The Highest Package is:- 2.6 cr per annum and the average package is:- 15 lac per annum. 85-90 percent of students get placed and the remaining students go for Higher Studies and Research. So the placement is above Average you needed to be skilled and develop some of the good habits and confident of speaking will surely get a very good placement and try to maintain the accuracy of the grades you are getting it's like you need to be above average According to some media reports, more than 1,300 offers were secured at the end of day 5 of placements 2022-23. A total of 45 international offers have been grabbed so far. The IIT Kharagpur's highest package recorded till now is above INR 2.68 crore per annum. Also, 800 internship offers were grabbed from 140 companies that were part of IIT Kharagpur internships in 2022. Top recruiters are Apple, Airbus, Google.

One of the Best engineering college

Placement Experience:

Everybody knows that the IITs are known for their campus placements with very high packaged of Jobs. The college placement quality cannot be questioned because the institution is the best engineering college in India, and the university placement is also up to par. The college has a track record of 95% selection and the remaining 5% are those who leave the placement sessions to do something else. The college's highest placement offer is 55 lacs per annum and the average wage placement is 20 lacs per annum Among the top college recruiters are Tata, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Bajaj Automotive, etc. As for my plans, I want campus placement in my college time and I work hard for that and grab my aim from campus.
