Remarks :

Admission to IIT Kharagpur is through Jee-Advanced. For Jee-Advanced you must qualify in Jee-Mains also. For the Industrial and systems course, you must have a rank above 8000 in General Category. You can find the application form on Google.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is one of the best courses at IIT Kharagpur. Lots of scopes in Internships and placements for this course. The curriculum is very good and well-structured. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5.One of the best professors teaches Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is a little bit costly. For an annual year, you have to pay approximately 2,70,000 rupees including all the things like mess fees, examination fees, etc. You can avail of many scholarships which are available. Right now I'm in 3rd year. I have got a software development intern at Amazon.

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted in the month of January is Spring Fest and the Tech Fest is Kshitij. IIT Kharagpur has one of the largest libraries in India. You can find any book of any genre in the library. Classes are conducted in the Nalanda complex which is fully air-conditioned, large in size, and can accommodate almost 300 students. Many societies/clubs are there on our campus like pravah, encore, tfps, alumni cell, etc.

Superb college

Placement Experience:

Internships start in the 5th semester and placements start in the 7th semester. Many MNCs and startups visit for internships and placements. The average package remains around 16lakhs per annum and the highest package goes over 2Cr.

The qualification of faculty is a PhD. Degree. And their teaching quality is not that much level of an extremely experienced faculty, But if you want to study, then you can easily get a lot of help. Tests occur every month. A total of four tests for theory papers and two tests for practicals happen in the semester.

Good College for Engineers.

Placement Experience:

3rd-year 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. Hitachi, TCS, Cognizant, Persistent, etc companies have visited and more than 100+ offers are provided by them. The lowest package is 3 lakhs and the highest is 10 lakhs. On average 7 lakhs., 98% are placed from our college. Even apart from the CSE stream ECE students have even cracked Amazon jobs. My plans after getting my degree would be studying MBA giving the CAT examination.
