How good are placements for MTech mechanical in VJTI Mumbai?

Before 2017, the MTech Mechanical department saw only 40%-50% placements with PPOs which were places of internships for students as well; as part of the MTech project. MTech Mechanical in CAD CAM saw 10-15 placements in 2017; most of the students did get internships with Siemens, Fiat Chrysler, and Cummins.

The department has good labs, over 27 faculty members, and 85 seats with a distribution of 18-25 each for the 4 MTech specializations.

WCE is an AICTE approved college whereas both COEP and VJTI Mumbai are autonomous government colleges. When compared, VJTI is the oldest engineering college between the three with the other two colleges being relatively newly established.
