The Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) in Mumbai offers several advantages to its students. According to a report, the highest salary package for the 2022 batch at SJMSOM was approximately 49.39% higher than the previous year, at INR 49 LPA. SJMSOM attracts highly prestigious companies for recruitment, including JP Morgan, ICICI Bank, Infosys Consulting, KPMG Global Services, PwC India, Wipro, and MAQ Software, among others. The smaller batch size at SJMSOM allows for more opportunities for students to participate in activities and committees, promoting their holistic development.
SJMSOM also offers a high number of live projects and industry interaction sessions, providing students with knowledge and experience beyond what is found in textbooks. When considering SJMSOM as an option, students may also be considering other institutes such as IIM K or IIM I. It is worth noting that while IIM Trichy is a good college, new IIMs may still be in the process of establishing themselves.
The way I look at and assess a part-time MBA is different from how I look at and assess a full-time one.
So, I’ll probably look at a few things
The primary focus should be to enjoy the learning experience and knowing your goals and how it is transacted is very important and must not be compromised.
IMT Ghaziabad is in a different league as of now. Though TAPMI is improving, It's still behind IMT G. In this scenario, the institute matters, not your specialization.
In my limited experience working in the sector and with recruiters, IMT has a better reputation than TAPMI. In many organizations, IMT is a better B-school than TAPMI. It's about image. As your career progresses, that is more significant than campus placements.
IMT is relaxed and requires self-motivation. You have every chance-use it. IMT has a great faculty, so you should be fine.

Undoubtedly, IMT G is a better option than TAPMI.
Considering the ROI and fees, JBIMS is a better option than IIM Lucknow. Also, it is affiliated with Mumbai University so has a brand name also. But in reality, these factors are short-term and cannot be considered if you are investing in your career.
Overall, IIM Lucknow has an upper hand in almost all aspects. Be it placements, faculty, or brand name. Had I been in your place I would have chosen IIM Lucknow mainly because
Both these aspects are lacking in the case of JBIMS because it is standalone and has a very weak alumni network. It also lacks accommodation facilities.
Overall both colleges have roughly the same worth and choosing one over the other is just a matter of preference.
