Which branch would I get in CUSAT with 4413 rank?

SB

Studied at Cochin University Of Science and Technology

You can perhaps try out all the branches as well as the counseling rounds. In case your bad luck does not allow you to secure any other option anywhere else, try and give the spot rounds a shot. Do not underestimate them.

Apart from that, try to go for the NRI quota and then grab your admission seat. But the NRI seat comes with a very heavy price to pay. It is very expensive. I believe you may get a seat in EC but predicting a branch, in particular, would be a little too much as each year, the rush with almost every branch is pretty intense.

ST
Samiksha Tripathy Posted On : March 15th, 2023
Executive MBA in Marketing, International Management Institute (Graduated 2020)

IMI Delhi started its 1-year full-time MBA program in 1984 and currently runs a 15-month program with 12 months of coursework on campus and 3 months dedicated to a field project. The fee structure of an Executive MBA from IMI Delhi is INR 12,00,000, including Tuition Fee, Text/Reading Material, Student Activity/Welfare, Library Fee, Lodging (single Executive AC Rooms), Boarding, Security Deposit, and Alumni- Life Membership.

You can expect to gain great value in terms of learning from the faculties and the overall MBA experience. The program is tailored for executives who have been working for 5 years or more, and it would be flexible enough for you to adapt and thrive. The institute, its management, and faculties do everything in their capacity to ensure learning is facilitated at all costs.

An integral part of the MBA experience at this level of experience and age for working executives would be the quality of life coming back to academics. If you decide to enroll, you can expect every bit of the year at IMI to be enjoyable and open new perspectives.

It is also essential for prospective participants in full-time executive MBA programs to understand that they do not always help you switch domains or industries. However, these programs are primarily designed to help mid-career executives find that leap in their career with the help of the acquired qualification and knowledge. The college supports placements, though historical evidence does not guarantee a job after the program. Whether you find your dream job/dream package out of this MBA program from campus or otherwise depends on a lot of factors like the quality of your prior work experience, prior employer, the nature of your work, and a lot of other factors.

IMI New Delhi completed 100% placements for the PGDM 2021-23 batch with an 11% hike in Average salary which has gone up to Rs.17.01 LPA, while the highest salary has gone up to Rs.50 LPA. Which NIT should I go for after Thapar University?

RC
Riya Chatterjee Posted On : August 10th, 2021
Studies E.C.E at Thapar University 2021

If you have to choose between Nagpur, Bhopal, Kurukshetra, Surat, and Thapar, then you should undeniably go for Thapar University. If not possible, then go for Kurukshetra. The other institutes you have mentioned above are not equally as renowned as the two stated previously.

Considering your choice is amongst NITs located in Warangal, Surathkal, Trichy, Jaipur, Allahabad, Calicut, and Thapar, you should opt for the first three. The order might go in this manner: NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal.

You can also choose any one of these institutes, depending on your course preference. You can choose Thapar University as the fourth choice, following Calicut, and Allahabad.

Why new IIMs are opened at places like Ranchi and Kashipur?

MA
Madhav Aneja Posted On : January 13th, 2023
Feels good to be back here

When you consider India's population, especially the working populations who migrate to these cities in search of jobs/education, etc., there aren't enough to sustain the pressure, and there aren't enough resources to support such a large crowd.

As evidenced by the conditions in these cities, the majority of them are either saturated or on the verge of saturation. As a result, the government must establish a new center for businesses, corporations, and so on. Opening a government institution such as IIT or IIM leads to an increase in business, at least locally, and later attracts investments from major market players such as real estate developers, malls, health care providers, and corporations, eventually leading to the industrialization or urbanization of cities.

To lessen the strain that these cities would otherwise face from having to support a new IIM or IIT, which would once more increase in-migration and intensify the city's problems. This could be one of the good reasons for this. So, establishing such institutions in these cities is, if not a good idea, a better idea. Many may contend that this represents a significant setback for some batches graduating from such Institutions at this stage of development.
