How much academically intense is the MBA curriculum at IBS Hyderabad?

DS
Deborah Sam Posted On : February 24th, 2023
MBA from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad

The MBA curriculum at IBS Hyderabad is heavily focused on case studies. The academic department designs these case studies to help students improve their decision-making and interpretation skills. The case studies are distributed to students every week, and they are considered to be an interactive and comprehensive learning tool, combining both objective and subjective data to give a thorough understanding of the concepts.

You will find that your day is filled with back-to-back lectures, presentations, case study discussions, guest lectures by prominent speakers, and other skill development activities. In your first semester, you will have 8-9 subjects and lectures from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, which may make you feel that you have little time to relax.

Ultimately, it is up to you to make the most of the academic curriculum and resources provided to you.

Is it worth doing an E MBA from IIM Bangalore? I work as SSE. I make around 50 lakhs per annum, age 32 and I have a B Com.

Know a few things about MBA

If you measure the worth of a degree by its salary, you will never be satisfied, and I recommend that you do not pursue an MBA. Money is only one of many factors to consider before beginning an MBA program. The salary you have is something that most people do not get even after an MBA/Executive MBA; average salary packages range between Rs. 22 and Rs. 25 lakhs. You are already earning twice as much.

If you want to advance your knowledge of business/strategy/finance/organizational behavior and advance to a higher position where you can have a significant impact, an MBA is unquestionably a good option. However, there is no guarantee that you will earn more than 50 lakhs after completing your EMBA. Go for it if you want to learn and are willing to take a pay cut after your MBA. Don't do it if you're only in it for the money. You could invest in the stock market and watch your money double over time. MBA does not magically transform 50 lakhs into 1 crore.

What is the level of coders in LNCT Bhopal and are there any running coding groups in college?

AG
Abhiman Gupta Posted On : September 20th, 2021
B.Tech Computer Science & Web Development, Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal

CSE is the best branch in LNCT Bhopal in terms of placement. The top recruiters include Wipro, Mu Sigma, Aon Hewitt, Dell, IBM, Godrej, HP, Samsung, Oracle, and more. Unfortunately, there are no coding groups running in the college, and no such conversation is initiated among students.

Even teachers do not show any interest in creating technical communities or putting effort into activities. For any club to exist, seniors need to take the initiative and allow the juniors to follow. This is not the case at LNCT Bhopal and students lack interest.

Overall, there is no external learning in college apart from the core classroom lectures.

Is IIM Indore Executive MBA Mumbai campus for working professionals worth the money?

HJ
Himanshi Jain Posted On : June 26th, 2023
Studied at Indian Institute of Management Indore (2019)

While the IIM tag is a plus, the cost of the Executive MBA program at IIM Indore's Mumbai campus is too high in my opinion. Instead, you should consider alternative options such as the British MBA Degree from Cardiff Met University or the Internationally accredited European MBA Degree from the Swiss School of Management, both offered by Universal Business School in Mumbai on Sundays.

There are several advantages to these alternative programs.

  • They are globally accredited MBA degrees, which are recognized worldwide.
  • They have top industry faculty, including global CEOs of multi-billion dollar corporations and foreign faculty, which provide a diverse and global perspective.
  • They offer European quality assessment and quality assurance, which is a plus.
  • These programs are endorsed by 60 CEOs, which suggests their value.

These programs can be completed in 1 year to 15 months, making them super fast, super efficient, and super convenient.

Which college is best: JSS Noida, KIET, Galgotia, or AKG?

A
Admin Posted On : May 15th, 2024

If you want to know about the real point of view of students, let me tell you, KIET is the best among all these colleges. KIET provides amazing placements for their BTech department, especially their CSE branch. In 2023 the highest package in CSE was INR 48.89 LPA. The placement percentage was also very high at 93.98%.

Our college is also very lenient in terms of attendance. If you are like me, and struggling to make up for the classes, this college can be a good option as KIET will not give you a headache for the same. There are a variety of festivals and cultural events celebrated in KIET.

What are the differences in portion and preparation of AIPMT and GUJCET?

AC
Aryaa Chatterjee Posted On : January 12th, 2021
Junior Resident, MD Psychiatry at B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India, (2020-present)

The Gujarat board has tried their best to replicate their books as much as they can with the CBSE books. Students appearing for GUJCET need to only prepare the 12th standard course. Students may find it difficult to determine their focus and time for 11th standard course or GUJCET.

Students need to make one of the exams their priority as the timing of both the exams clash with each other. Though, if any student has prepared for both of the examinations from the beginning and is very confident about doing well in both of them, then they may proceed to and opt both. Otherwise, the focus should be on one exam at a time.

In Gujarat board, some questions aren't even rephrased or have diagrams with a missing label and the same diagram may not be there in other books which creates a lot of confusion. The duration is the same in both the exams, but GUJCET is less lengthy compared to NEET.

In GUJCET, there are around 120 questions as compared to 180 questions in NEET. Students need to practice time management to solve the paper on the given time limit. The rules and regulations differ in both the exams. The check-in isn't so strict in GUJCET while in NEET, they can even rip off your sleeves.

Another major difference is regarding the use of calculators. In GUJCET, it is allowed for students to use calculators while in NEET it isn't. Though, in GUJCET, the questions are sometimes a bit complex while in NEET, there isn't any requirement to use it.

The marking system also differs in both the exams. In GUJCET, students are rewarded 1 mark for each correct answer while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer while in NEET, each correct answer is rewarded with 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted in case of each wrong answer. Though, students residing outside of Gujarat need to possess a domicile for appearing in GUJCET.

So, students should take a note of the exam pattern of both the exams before appearing for it.

Where does NITIE stand in industrial engineering when compared to other top institutes like Georgia Tech?

RC
Riya Chaudhary Posted On : August 18th, 2021
PGDPM from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2018)

To compare two colleges (especially MBA) the parameters that should be considered - Industry connect; Alumni base; Academic levels; Course Curriculum; and Placements.

With respect to these parameters, NITIE is a great place to be due to the following reasons:

  • Being in Mumbai, it gives the opportunity to interact with the companies, their head offices, industries, MSMEs, startups, etc. A batch of students went to the Godrej plant for a visit recently.
  • It has a very strong alumni connection of around 6000 across the country and across the globe.
  • The faculty members are indulged in a lot of research work and they work as consultants for many of the companies and they often include students in their work as well to provide them practical knowledge of the industry.
  • Coming to the placements, NITIE has a placement rate of 100%. The highest package offered at NITIE is 44 LPA and the average package offered is 20.85 LPA

There are many more reputed colleges but NITIE is one of the best colleges for industrial engineering.
