Mechanical is an option at NIT Jalandhar.
Although MNNIT Allahabad has a better brand name than NIT Jalandhar, the production branch has many disadvantages when compared to the mechanical branch.
Unless someone specifically mentions Production Engineering, you will have to compete with mechanical students at NIT Allahabad during placements and off-campus interviews. When compared to Mechanical, there are fewer job opportunities.
There may now be one or two PSUs with separate vacancies for Production students. Mechanical paper is required in order to obtain PSUs, which are extremely difficult to crack. GATE is very important for core branches, and Mechanical has a high level of competition compared to other branches. Only if you intend to change your branch after one year should you enroll in NIT Allahabad; otherwise, do not.

Other than these, IMED has highly accomplished faculty teaching students with 90% holding a Ph.D. degree. Those at MITSOM have master’s degrees. Campus wise, some of the facilities available at IMED include libraries, computer labs, hostels, and gyms among others. Those available at MITSOM’s 25-acre campus include computer labs, cafeterias, student relaxation rooms, study areas within libraries, and more. Many people choose to enroll in the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad due to its reputation and the success of its alumni. However, it is important to note that the SP Jain Global MBA program is also a highly regarded option. In fact, it has been recognized by Forbes and The Economist as a top MBA program in the world, an accomplishment that ISB has not yet achieved. Additionally, SP Jain Global has a long history of providing quality education and producing talented professionals. This is particularly true for the Family Managed Business course, which is taught by a faculty that includes a large number of international university doctorates.
Given its reputation, the experience of its professors, and the specific offerings of the Family Managed Business course, SP Jain Global is a strong choice for those looking to inherit and expand a family-run business.
