What should be written in research proposal IIT Madras Direct PhD?
This answer is based on the assumption that you already have an experience of research in your previous degree in a particular area of interest and you are willing to expand it through Ph.D. The research proposal should be based on this area of expertise only and the prescribed word limit should be followed. A research proposal for a Direct Ph.D. program at IIT Madras should include:
- A clear and concise statement of the research problem or question
- A review of the relevant literature and current state of knowledge on the topic
- A description of the research methods and techniques that will be used to investigate the problem
- A detailed plan for data collection and analysis
- A discussion of the expected outcomes and contributions of the research to the field.
