Having known some people studying in both these institutes, I can say that Kalinga University (KU) is much better than Amrita University. Here are some points in support of this statement.
Categories | Kalinga University | Amrita University |
Course Fee | 6.19 lakh | 13.1 lakh |
Placement Percentage | 90% | 80% |
Highest CTC | 10-12 LPA | 12 LPA |
Average CTC | 6 LPA | 4 LPA |
Kalinga University also got 'A' grade by NAAC. The placements here are one of the best and the institute has been growing rapidly over the last few years.
If you can’t visit the university in person, you can apply for your transcripts through service providers. There are many service providers who will help you get your transcripts online. You will have to make an application for RGPV transcripts through the website of the service provider of your choosing. Upload the required documents. The service providers will deliver your transcripts to your address. MailTranscripts offer good services. They usually deliver transcripts within 2 weeks.
The best weekend activities for NIT Srinagar students depend on their year and interests. Here are some common activities NIT Srinagar students are seen involved in
So NIT Srinagar students are involved in a number of activities and spend their weekends enjoying them to their fullest.
To begin with, the 5-year dual degree program at BITS is significantly more costly than the 5-year iMTech program at IIIT Bangalore, as well as the 4-year BTech program at IIIT Allahabad.
Second, there's no assurance that you'll get CSE at BITS Pilani if you don't have the required CGPA. So, it will be better to consider IIITA or IIITB.
I have a few friends at IIITB and based on what I heard from them, I will definitely recommend the institute.
The arguments in favor of IIIT B are as follows.
I know several students in the iMTech program who have chosen IIITB over BITS Pilani CSE and BITS Goa, CSE.
In order to determine your eligibility we must go through the eligibility criteria of the Ph.D. program offered by JNU Delhi. To get admission you must have a Master’s Degree/BE/B.Tech with 55% marks or equivalent Grade ‘B’ in UGC 7-point scale. There is no specific specialization mentioned that makes you eligible for admission to the Ph.D. in Economics program at JNU.
Furthermore, you will be invited for a viva voce examination. To be eligible for this you must secure the following marks out of 70 in the written examination for doctoral courses:

ECE at NIT Hamirpur is considered a pretty good branch with a decent placement scenario. The faculty is well-educated and friendly. Recently there has been a change in the Director of the campus and also the H.o.D. so the situation is expected to get even better.
The institute has developed better industrial relations with companies either through Skype or through campus visits. Moreover, the professors have become more passionate and helpful. Recently, two teams from the ECE Department won a National Competition.
Here are the placement stats of the ECE department of NIT Hamirpur:

However, the only drawback is that owing to the remote location students of this branch get placed in IT companies over core ones.
Your graduation score is a bit low but it depends on your institute too. If you are from a top college, then this score will be considered pretty good. Moreover, past academics are not the only deciding factor when it comes to admission to IIMs. You do have decent changes if selection viewing your overall profile.
As for the CAT Score, don’t set a fixed target and just aim for as high as you can. The cutoffs keep changing depending on various factors so what should remain constant are your efforts. Additionally, preparing for the interview is very crucial because it determines your chances of admission.
Though there is a swimming pool structure at MNNIT Allahabad, it has not been in use since the 90s. By the time I graduated from MNNIT in 2010, it was in complete ruins.
Numerous rumors have been circulating for a long time about its past. One of them is that a student drowned in the pool, and hence, it was closed. It is not a usable state, but even if it were, there are other problems as well.
The pool is near the boys' hostels, and is easily visible from there, so it is impossible to open it for girl students. Also, it is located near a railway bridge crossing the MNNIT campus, so outsiders from above can view the students taking a bath in it.
Thus, one can say that there is no practically usable pool at MNNIT Allahabad at present.
As the institute is below average, but there have been students from RGUKT who have cracked the CAT exam in the past. CAT is considered one of the grinding MBA entrances. There were around 75 alumni who sailed through CAT. Most of them had percentiles that were above 98 and got admission in top B-schools like IIM A, B, C, K, and more.
You can prepare for the CAT from the last year of your engineering degree. You need to understand the syllabus and practice solving the past papers. Many academies, like Kish Academy, conduct seminars about CAT. They give insights about how to prepare and what it takes to clear the exam.
For the dream institute, IIM A, you need to score 99.9+ to get a call as an engineer. Even after receiving the call for an interview, you should ace the interview round.
If you are prepared and well-practiced, you will be able to score excellent percentile. You do not have to fear the institute from where you completed your graduation.
NIT Puducherry is very new compared to College of Engineering Guindy (CEG). Let me share some points which might help you decide.
Categories | CEG | NIT Puducherry |
Course Fee | 2 lakh | 5.49 lakh |
Placement Percentage | 80% | 65% |
Highest CTC | 22 LPA | 15 LPA |
Average CTC | 7.5 LPA | 4 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, HP, Cognizant, Dell, etc. | L&T, EY, JP Morgan, TCS, etc. |
It is recommended that you go for CEG if you have to choose between these two. But if your choice only is NIT Puducherry then you can opt for it. It is a good college but as it started functioning recently, it is better to go for an experienced one.
