Dr. Ajay Khunteta is the Dean, School of Computer Science and Engineering, at Poornima University, Jaipur. He has 20 years of teaching and research experience. His research has been published in more than 75 international and national journals. He supervised 44 M.tech dissertations and four Ph.D. theses. He is a reviewer for many scopes and sci journals. The areas of his expertise are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image processing.

How did you train yourself and the faculty to deliver this program to the students?

All faculties are experienced and qualified as per UGC and AICTE guidelines. Maximum faculties are Ph.D. in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, IoT and security. To gain more knowledge they are attending various training programs, faculty developments programs and global certifications programs. In the academic session 2020-2,1 52 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences have been published by faculties and students. Faculty members have published 14 patents also in the last academic session.


How do you tend to build an industry connected with this program?

We have a semester-wise activity plan where we make students indulge in various activities. These include expert lectures from industry persons, industrial visits, guest lectures, hands-on training, global certifications, workshops and seminars. We have already signed MoU with many renowned companies like Cerebral Technologies, IndicChain, Red Hat, Mobiloitte, EC-Council for students training and live projects. Every Friday is an i3 day (Industry Institution Interaction day) in which 5 hours of technical and CRT programs are conducted with the help of industry experts of various domains.
