Poornima University offers a gamut of UG and PG courses in various specialisations including Engineering & Technology, Commerce, Applied Sciences, Management, Design and Architecture. Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG programmes can submit their applications till April 2023.

Admission to UG courses and PG courses is granted on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination.

Poornima University UG & PG Admission 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Poornima University will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

UG Courses: The basic eligibility for all the undergraduate courses is a pass in 10+2.
BArch: Candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch programme must have a valid NATA score.
BSc: Candidates having an NCHM JEE score will be granted admission to B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration.
B.Tech: Candidates must have passed in 10+2 and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/SBC) in any of the relevant subjects for admission to the B.Tech programme.
BBA: Candidates must have class 10+2 qualification in any stream with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/NCL-OBC/SBC/Girls) in aggregate from CBSE / equivalent board.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:

PG Courses: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum required marks in order to apply for any of the PG courses.
M.Tech: Candidates must hold BE/ B.Tech/ equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 point scale (50% or 5.75 CGPA on 10 point scale for ST / SC / OBC / SBC).
Candidates with MCA / M.Sc. IT can apply for M.Tech. in Computer Engineering.
MBA: Candidates must have passed 3 years Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with minimum 50% marks (45% for ST/SC/OBC/SBC) from a recognized University or equivalent

Poornima University UG & PG Admission 2023-24: Selection Process

Candidates can go through the selection process for the following courses:

B.Tech: Admissions 70% of the seats are done on the basis of merit in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University and admission to 15% of the seats are done on the basis of merit in the JEE MAIN exam and to the remaining 15% Seats, admission is done on the basis of merit in the 10+2 examination.

BBA: Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
MTech: Candidates are selected based on the merit in the GATE exam.
MBA: Candidates will be selected based on the merit in the CAT/CMAT exam.
UG & PG Courses: Admission to the UG and PG courses will be based on the merit obtained in the last qualifying examination.
