Dr. Sunita Mathur is the Head of the Economic Administration & Financial Management Department at Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya. She is working as a Lecturer in Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya for 35 years and was promoted to HOD in the year 2012. Her specializations are in Finance and Economics. She also worked on several book publications.
What are your roles and responsibilities?
“Overall development and creativity of students”
We increase confidence in students and assist them to become good citizens. One of my responsibilities is the overall development and creativity of students. The students get inspired by various activities and training on campus.
How do you establish healthy relations with students and faculty?
“Adopt open communication and student-centric learning on campus”
We enable open communication and management on campus. Smooth functioning and coordination take place among members of campus. The faculties give student-centric learning and students share every issue with them. We support students to ask queries and freely share any problems.
How do you bring a practical approach towards subjects as industry-oriented?
“Organize Industry visits, Internships, and interaction with Entrepreneurs for students”
We provide various activities on campus for students. Practical knowledge about banking operations provided to pupils. They get the chance to visit industries and deal with business entrepreneurs. Internships and workshops are improving the skills of each pupil.
How do you update the curriculum for students in Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya?
“Provide changes in syllabus according to the latest trends every year for the students”
The campus is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan and consists of qualified faculties. We design various courses for upcoming years and make changes in the syllabus every year. The prescribed curriculum by the university follows us.

What are your views on placements and higher education for students?

One of the vital roles of students' development is online courses and learning. It helps them to get job opportunities and placement easily. We aid candidates to engage in higher studies and provide them with information about multiple courses from national/international universities.
How do you help a student to cope with outside competition?
“Seminars, conferences, communication, and computer workshops are provided to pupils”
The students on our campus get counseling and career sessions. They get seminars, conferences, communication, and computer workshops for their growth. Pupils can participate in talks on current Affairs, Economic policies and more activities. All these improve their skills easily.
What extracurricular activities enhance students' skills to face real-world challenges?

Our campus organizes computer literacy and entrepreneurial workshops for students. The knowledge level of students improves through this. Workshops, Debates, Quizzes, Extempore, and Group Discussions are given to students.

“To pace learning and attain modern technological teaching on campus”
Some students come from a low economic background and they face difficulty in communication skills. Another difficulty is to pace up with learning according to the latest trends. Modern technological teaching is another issue on campus.

All the cultural and academic activities improve the skills of students. Our campus organizes field excursions, Industry internships, factory visits, and interactive talks for pupils. It ensures to improve of the knowledge of students.
