Machines will take over humans one day; this is the biggest burning issue that the entire education sector is dealing with. We can either accept and start working on the changes, to create a stronger future of the nation or simply resist to the changes and turn a blind eye to the holistic development of the young leaders.

KIET Group of Institutions chose to embrace the changes as we believe that change is inevitable and highly essential for the overall development of the students and the human race. In this regard, we aim to provide high-quality educational opportunities to our students. We have introduced exclusive initiatives that make learning more holistic, integrated, and experiential.

Centers of Excellence:

We have 7 major centers of excellence, viz. the following –

  1. Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics (ADAM) - Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics is a course developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. This course contains Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics/ Embedded system, Vehicle Systems and Soft Skills modules. The training is imparted in the areas of Electrical & Electronics Technology, Advanced Automobile Systems / Engineering and its diagnosis, practical hands on experience on Mercedes-Benz Car, Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. factory visit (optional), etc.
  2. Centre of Advanced Woodworking (CAW) - The recent skill development initiative is the joint venture of KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS and BIESSE MANUFACTURING COMPANY PVT. LTD. in the form of “Centre of Advanced Woodworking (CAW)”. The prime objective of CAW is to impart training to young professionals and to develop new entrepreneurs in the highly disorganized woodworking industry. The academy provides CLAD certification course training and hands-on experience on hardware modules, like MyRIO, sbRIO, WSN, Bio-Medical Sensors, ELVIS, USRP RIO, etc.
  4. Space Technologies – A Center of Excellence in ‘Space Technologies’ is established at the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering to provide a platform to the students, who want to nurture themselves in the newly emerging field of space technology. Cellular communication, farming, geographic area mapping, and remote sensing are the areas of training.
  5. Robotics & Mechatronics Lab - Established by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering along with E-Yantra Lab (sponsored by IIT, Bombay), this center of excellence encompasses Fire Bird V, Fire Bird VI, Fire Bird XII, and four wheel-based robots. We also have a humanoid in this lab, which is designed by 20 servo motors.
  6. Fab Lab – The Fab Lab (MIT USA Electronics Fabrication Lab) provides widespread access to modern means for invention. TBI-KIET has established FabLab with the funding support of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, and named it “DST PRAYAS SHALA”. The lab acts as a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention to provide a stimulus for local innovators and entrepreneurs and serves as a platform for learning and innovation.
  7. iOS Learning – The iOS Learning center has been established under an MoU with Apple iOS University Program. It is equipped with 25 Mac machines, 2 iPads, 1 Laptop MAC book, and 1 LCD Projector.
