Real view of kiet college.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship training is provided by the college. The college and the teachers are very helpful in this thing. And they will try to solve any problem if you get into the internship procedure. Are in next year I would also get a chance to do an internship as I am currently in my first year.

Placement Experience:

1.From the 6th sem onwards companies starts coming for on campus recruitment. 2. Many mass hiring companies like TCS,Infosys,Wipro,DXC,Accenture,Capgemini,Cognizant,HCL,Tech Mahindra, JOSH,Lowes etc. hired most of the student average offers held by each student is 1-2. 3.Highest package offered is Amazon with CTC of 44.14 and the average package is 5LPA. 4.Placement rate of the college is 90% to 95% depending on the various departments. 5.My plan is to gain experience in the IT sector and later on to prepare for the CAT or UPSC.

Internships Opportunities:

Placement is good at KIET but not many internship opportunities with good companies. You can try off-campus for good internships. Placement cell tries to inform students about all the off-campus opportunities they could find. Usually, students do departmental internships during summer vacations.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good if a student works hard in the coding field, but especially coding is very very important to get a placement here because mainly tech Companies arrive here for hiring. The average placement is 7 lakh/yr.

Internships Opportunities:

The college always gives opportunities to get an internship and always gives freedom for going for an internship as it increases the placement chances in the college few people have also cracked gsoc in our college and working as an intern at Google.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are ok. Mass recruiters like TCS, infosys, cognizant, and Accenture visit our college. Some good companies like cisco, lowes etc also come oncampus. Almost all the students are placed every year, Even civil and mechanical students get placements some in the core and other in the IT industry.

Internships Opportunities:

Overall the college is great. Most of the companies that offer internships in the college are on an unpaid basis. But you can look for internships on various other platforms. The projects done are ok it all depends on you and your hard work.

The placements are great for the college. There are mostly mass recruiters that visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. Apart from this some good companies like Cisco, lowes, and Amazon also visit our campus.

Internships Opportunities:

Summer internship usually starts in the month of June-July. You can do the campus internship department internship or can also go for internships from outside the college. The internships that are provided in the college are mostly unpaid.

In the third year, the placements begin. The mass recruiters visit the campus and every student gets placed in any one of these companies. There is a 3 LPA gap if you want to sit for another company. The overall placement is good.

KIET offers better placements for ECE compared to ABES Engineering College. Although the number of core companies visiting the campus placement is less in number, the salary packages offered are good. According to the recent highlights of KIET Ghaziabad placement, around 80% of students from ECE get placed from ECE, each year. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 3-4 LPA. The placement session for KIET Ghaziabad has been much better than other colleges of UPTU. The major companies visiting the campus for recruitment were: Samsung, Cummins, HCL, TCS, Snapdeal, Capgemini, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Procto, and many more. The mass recruitment happened for the IT branch students although core companies for the other branches visited the campus as well. A total of 305 companies visited the campus for their placements and a total of 1299 offers were made to the students The average package offered to the student stood at INR 4.14 Lakhs per annum whereas the highest package offered was INR 1.29 Lakhs per annum. 124 companies provided 741 job offers with an average package of 3-4 Lakhs per annum. 78 Companies provided 251 job offers with an average package of 4-9 Lakhs per annum. 18 companies offered 28 job offers with an average of 9 lakhs per annum. For the year 2020, the highest package has already reached 19 lakhs per annum being offered by Amazon. Majority of the students from the CS and It branch get placed in the core companies. KIET Ghaziabad has a placement rate similar to the other colleges of AKTU. As far as the CS and IT departments are concerned there won't be any delay in recruitments because most companies recruit from these branches. Generally, the major recruiters at KIET are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Snapdeal, Cummins, Torrent Power, etc. The institute sees mass recruitments in the IT sector and core companies like Reliance, SAIL, Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, Larsen and Toubro, etc keep visiting for recruitments as well. Elite recruiters like Amazon visit the campus, but infrequently. For convenience the highlights of placement information for 2020: Branch Number of Visiting Companies Average Package Offered (INR LPA) Highest Package Offered(INR LPA) CS 119 4.93 13.29 IT 118 5.37 27.40 EC 85 4.89 19.00 ME 69 4.27 12.02 CE 62 3.68 10.00 MBA 52 3.06 10.00 Core branches face more difficulty in getting recruited and have to see delays because of the low number of core companies visiting each year. For others, it's a tough call. Basically, placements are good for the non-core branches and KIET is nevertheless better than the other colleges of AKTU in terms of the average package.
