RWTH Aachen University provided Highest Amount of Funding

SL
8.0 /10

RWTH is the best University for research in Germany with the highest amount of funding. Moreover, RWTH is the best for Communications Engineering in Germany.

Course Curriculum :

Research-based studies are extremely good. But professors mainly teach their own research and expect you to know the basics beforehand. German universities are not like US universities. Completing a Master's degree takes time (almost 3 years on average).

Exams :

Course specific subjects must be completed in the Bachelor's degree with GRE 151 Verbal 165 Quants 4.5 Writing; TOEFL 111/120

Placement :

University is not responsible for finding you a job. Career fairs are regularly held for students to talk to corporates about open positions. If you have a good performance in a Master's Thesis, professors usually give you an opportunity to appear for Ph.D interviews with that research institute.

Internship :

I interned at Volkswagen with the AI - research team.

Events :

Campus facilities are extremely good. Housing is not provided by the University. You have to find that on your own. Research facilities and libraries are well-equipped. The sports facilities are extremely good. All kinds of sports are given equal attention. Life in Germany is extremely good. The added advantage is there if you know the language and try to blend in with the Germans.

Fees :

There are no tuition fees. University charges an amount of approximately 300 EUR per semester for the facilities and free travel around the entire state in which the university is located. If someone wishes not to travel they can give a declaration and get back around 200 EUR out of the 300.

Scholarship :

Most German Public Universities have free education so no scholarship is awarded

Faculty :

The professors are the best in their fields. All of them are highly known in both the academic field and the industry.

Hostel :

The average living cost for single apartments in Aachen is around 350 EUR/ MONTH. Shared apartments are cheaper.
