DU Admission Through CUET 2022: Delhi University has released the special spot round 2 vacant seats on December 29. Candidates can check the vacant seats at the official website – admission.uod.ac.in. The allocation list of DU UG Admission 2022 special spot round 1 on December 22, 2022. According to latest reports, as many as 57640 candidates have filled B.Com as their top preference at Ramjas College followed by 57613 candidates for B.Com at Kirori Mal College. For 2022-23, the University of Delhi B.Com program is among the top courses with a total of 3283765 candidates who have filled either B.Com or B.Com (Hons) as their preference.   • Once the candidate “Accept” the provisionally allocated seat, the College will check the eligibility and verify documents for “Approval”.
    • In case of “Approval”, candidates need to pay the ‘Admission Fee’ till October 24 (4:59 PM). 
    • In case of ”Rejection”, the college is going to state the relevant reason for non-fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria, program-specific eligibility, subject-mapping criteria, invalid documents or failure to respond to query.
  • Based on the number of seats available, subsequent CSAS Counselling rounds will be conducted. To participate in the further counselling process, candidates must accept the seat allotted to him/her. Check CUET Counselling 2022

What is CASAS? Common Seat Allocation System or CSAS 2022 is the centralized counselling process being conducted by the University of Delhi for admission to 79 UG programs offered across 67 colleges, departments and centers. This year, nearly 2.17 lakh candidates have applied for DU Admissions through CUET 2022. To apply through CSAS 2022, applicants need to have a 10+2 degree from a recognized board and must have qualified CUET for DU Admissions through CUET.

DU Admissions through CUET 2022: CSAS Registration

After clearing the cutoff of CUET, for seat allotment at the University of Delhi, every application has to fill out the CSAS 2022 registration form. Candidates can now check the 1st spot round seat allocation at the official website. Candidates need to accept the seat by November 24, 2022. The given below are steps to register for DU UG 2022.

  1. Click on the admission portal for CSAS 2022 registration.

  2. After clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to the CSAS registration portal.
  3. Fill out the asked details, i.e., CUET application number, date of birth and captcha verification.

Eligibility Criteria

As it is the counseling process for undergraduates, it is mandatory for all the students to clear the 10+2 examination. Moreover, the class 12 mark sheet will be asked to present during the counseling process. So, complete your Higher Senior Secondary from a recognized board. Apart from educational qualifications, only those students will be considered who have appeared in CUET.

CSAS Documents Required

DU Admission through CUET 2022: Documents Required for CSAS Counselling

It must be noted that all the candidates who seek admission to the University of Delhi should submit a few documents. These documents include:

  1. Class 10 marksheet, having candidate’s name, parent’s name and date of birth.
  2. Class 10+2 from a recognized board is mandatory to provide. Make sure that the name in the class 12 marksheet and CUET form are the same.
  3. Reservation category candidates must submit the certificate of SC/ST/EWS/OBC-Non Creamy Layer/Minority/KM/PwBD/CW if claiming the reservation.
  4. Sports/ECA quota candidates must submit self-attested certificates in favor of their claim.
  5. Kashmiri migrant, Sikh minority and Christianity minority certificates should be provided, if applicable.

CSAS Counselling Process

The admission process in the colleges of DU will include 3 phases. These will be:

  1. Applying for admission at DU: Students will have to register at CSAS 2022 portal. While filling out the application form, you have to provide personal details (Name, category, caste, sub-category, contact number, email id, gender). Next, you have to fill out the details of your educational qualifications and lastly upload the asked documents. The non-refundable registration fee will be charged by the authority. If you are opting for EAC quota and sport supernumerary quota, you have to pay additional charges for the same.
  2. Choosing the college and programs: This is the second phase of the application process. The applicant has to select the “‘program Section’ on the CSAS dashboard and opt for the desirable course and college combination offered to them according to their merit.
  3. Allocation-cum-admission: It is the last stage of the admission process, where both student and college approve the allocation and finally pay the admission fee for the selected program.
