BHU Admissions through CUET 2023: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is going to tentatively start the registration process on August 2023, for all undergraduate courses. Candidates are going to be able to choose their preferred course from during the registration window. Aspirants who have appeared for the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) exam are only eligible to apply for the BHU admission process on or before the last date. Eligible candidates can register themselves online on the official website of BHU i.e., www.bhuonline.in by entering their CUET user ID and Roll Number. BHU is accepting admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the basis of scores obtained in the CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a wide range of courses from various streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Science, Fine Arts, Technology, Medicine, and Performing Arts. Admission to all the courses will be based on the CUET entrance exam. To apply for admission in BHU UG courses, aspirants need to possess a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in the higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Step 1: Register through BHU Admission Portal:

After the declaration of the CUET result, candidates seeking admission to BHU undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses are required to register themselves online on the University admission portal. Aspirants who appeared for the CUET-UG exam can register themselves for admission to Banaras Hindu University.

Step 2: Appear for the Counselling Round:

Based on scores obtained in CUET-UG, aspirants are then required to participate in the online counseling process for provisional admission to the courses they have applied for. After that, the allotment of the final seat will be done by BHU.

BHU Counselling

BHU Counselling 2023

The counseling for BHU 2023 Admission will be done on the basis of scores obtained in CUET. On the basis of their ranks obtained in CUET, candidates can take part in the counseling process. To be eligible for the counseling process, candidates must make sure they possess the 12th standard mark sheet and subject eligibility and must have appeared in the CUET exam.

The BHU counseling process is completely in online mode. The detailed counseling process for BHU 2023 is given in the below points

  • Step 1: The candidate needs to register on the Banaras Hindu University admission portal (http://bhuonline.in/) by using CUET Application No. (User Id) and CUET Exam Roll No (as Password).
  • Step 2: Candidates are advised to change their password for security purposes.
  • Step 4: Next, the candidate shall sign in on the Registration portal, fill in all the required details, and upload all essential documents.
  • Step 5: The Preview page will appear on the screen to confirm all the details filled in by the candidate.
  • Step 6: The candidate shall be required to upload the following documents Score card of CUET (UG)2023, Matriculation or its equivalent certificate to ascertain the date of birth, Mark sheet of 12th or qualifying examination, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority, PwD Certificate, if applicable, BHU Employee certificate, if applicable for those who are claiming under sports achievement certificates, sports quota.
  • Step 7: The candidate shall pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 200/- (for General / OBC/ EWS) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PwD) through online payment i.e., Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking.
  • Step 8: Before proceeding with the final submission of the registration form and payment the candidate must ensure that all the required documents are uploaded.

  • Score Card of CUET UG
  • 10th or its equivalent exam certificate for Date of Birth proof.
  • Marksheet of 12th or Qualifying exam.
  • Passing certificate of Qualifying exam.
  • BHU UET 2023 Admit Card
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) need to be issued by the appropriate authority
  • Migration/ Transfer Certificate
  • Certificate of sports category for candidates from sports quota
