I chose this course because after switching from Science, Sociology seemed to be easily relatable. Besides that, I had heard a lot about the fantabulous faculty catering to this field of study. Here, for a batch of 75 students; 2 teachers cater to one subject. Faculties are good, however, some aren't very engaging in their pedagogy. Exams are frequent and it is more of a mediocre level; however, gaining marks is difficult.
The faculty of Political Science is best here in Miranda House. The classes are generally divided into sections to maintain good faculty: student ratio. This course provides you with a holistic understanding of political science and its sub-discipline. DU is the only university in India providing International Relations at the undergraduate level. This course would make one able to pursue a future in Civil services, academia, and other fields that require a better understanding of Polity. The faculty in miranda house doesn't take teaching lightly. Faculty is rich in knowledge, the best of DU, and dedicated. They provide the best services and expect the same from students. There are a total of 6 semesters in this course which makes for 6-semester exams the interval of 5 months and assignments and term papers in between the semester for mid-semester assessment.
Economics Hons is one of the best courses to study as it provides you with the benefit of studying social sciences from a scientific perspective. The faculty of my college is very good, with 3 teachers per 112 students. Term exams were difficult but well-planned. They proved to be most helpful for Semester end exams.
I choose this course because I am interested in the teaching profession that's why I choose this course. student ratio - 100 percent girls. Faculty teachers and our teaching methods are best.term exam between 4-5 months.
I opted for this course because it offers two disciplines to study together. Also, it is very helpful if one is preparing for competitive exams like UPSC and so on. Being the first rank college in India and faculty members of the college are just amazing and are masters in their field. The eighth semester has an internal assessment followed by a semester examination which is not very easy, unlike other colleges for BA.
I choose this course as reviewed by some seniors that the faculty is great and there is no doubt about it they try to give everything to a student so that they can get knowledge in a way that they remember till the end and as the teachers are very supportive one do not feel pressurized during exam if the person has attended the class. In one year there is a two-semester exam which can be easily passed
The faculties are mostly great! It also depends upon the department however, while some departments are at on advantage, others aren't. In general, faculties are well qualified and have expertise in their particular arena.
The course curriculum is pretty tough for people who do not have a mathematical background. Most of the course is quantitative and does include economic reasoning of course. Our faculty members are really very nice and experienced and helped us throughout our course, but only if we reached out to them because that is college right? The faculty is very talented and approachable too. It is not difficult to pass if you prepare well and have a mathematical edge in the subjects and all of it is pretty doable.
I chose this course because of my interest in literature. The faculty of English literature is well-trained and helpful. They are always there to help their students out with topics. The semester exams are not that tough they are all about what is taught in the class.
While choosing my course and college, my preference was more options for a master's. A general course like BA Programme opens at least two doors for a master's (in my case History, Philosophy- my disciplines and English- I took Eng. as my General Elective). The faculty is quite up to the mark and qualified (Ph.D.) for most courses which are pretty impressive, this being said the teaching methods are pretty classic- not innovative. That is because the exam patterns are pretty fixed for the past many years... but that makes it easy to pass and score okayish (average cgpa is 6-8, which is pretty decent).

We need to take an entrance examination named the Cuet Common Undergraduate Eligibility Test. It comprises of exams which you have studied in class 12th. The cut-off varies from college to college. The eligibility of the course is you need to have maths in class 12. The application form can be found on du site and the application date varies Feb and March. The dates must be informed before the games. I didn't avail of the reservation benefits but there are for sports quota and SC, ST, EWS
SBy - SweetyFirst of all, for Economics Hons., you must have mathematics in your class 12. For admission to Miranda House, University of Delhi you have to give CUET. After the CUET you have to fill the counseling form of DU which is released right after the CUET result. Miranda House cutoff varies from category to category. If you are from the UR category you must have to score above 750 /800 and if you have any category certificate(SC, ST, obc, or EWS) you can get admission even at 650.
tbBy - tanvi bansalEligibility- Maths, one subject of B1 and B2 each, and language There is something called CSAS for DU for which the website is different and this slot opens when CUET is over and the result is being declared, but about CUET, I used to visit NTA websites also YouTube helped me out. It's an online test and my test computer hung for 10 minutes wasting my precious time and no extra time was given. So either be smart to fill in easy subjects first or NTA should provide extra time for such PCs.
