Satyawati college is a co-educational constituent college of University of Delhi. The college offers several UG courses in different specializations. It also has a single PG course offered under the faculty of Arts and specialization in Political Science. Besides academic excellence, the college is also known for its achievements in extracurricular activities. The Sports Department of the college conducts 20 different sports activities in a year. Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counseling. Candidates seeking admission to PG courses are required to appear for the CUET PG.
The Delhi Government established Satyawati College in 1972 and is one of the off campus colleges of the University of Delhi. At present the college has 10 Departments and numerous courses. The college has been accredited by NAAC with Grade A and affiliated to Delhi University. Satyawati College Admission Process 2023
Satyawati College's admission process is completely online. Candidates seeking admission are required to apply online on the official website. Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of CUET scores followed by e-counseling. Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 40 percent marks in total to be eligible for UG courses provided. The program-specific eligibilities vary from course to course.
The marks obtained by the candidate in CUET 2023will be considered for computing the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate programs. Merit will be based only on the ‘combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2023’ as mentioned in the respective Program-Specific Eligibility.
PG admissions are done through CUET PG. There total 75 programs for PG courses which is been provided by Delhi University. As per the DU admission policy, 50% of seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through CUET PG. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for PG courses through the CUET PG entrance exam.
