Lakshmibai College is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college has several departments, like Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Home Science, History, etc under which several UG and PG courses are offered. Few add-on courses like Certificate and Diploma courses are also offered by the college in several specialisations, such as, Foreign Languages, Machine Learning, Vedic Mathematics and Women & Legal Literacy, etc.
Established in 1965 and named after the fearless patriot Rani Lakshmibai, the college focuses on providing higher education to several women students. Lakshmibai College is managed by the Govt. of Delhi and affiliated to the University of Delhi. It is an AICTE approved and UGC recognized college and has been ranked 39 in the Arts stream by India Today 2022.

Lakshmibai College Admission Process 2023
Lakshmibai College admission process is completely online. Candidates seeking admission are required to apply online on the official website. Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of CUET scores followed by e-counseling. Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 40 percent marks in total to be eligible for UG courses provided. The program-specific eligibilities vary from course to course. The marks obtained by the candidate in CUET will be considered for computing the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate programs. Merit will be based only on the ‘combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET. MA admissions is done through CUET PG. As per the DU admission policy, 50% of seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through CUET PG. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for MA through the CUET PG entrance exam.

CUET application process
Candidates applying for UG courses in Lakshmibai College can follow the following steps in order to register for the CUET:
- Candidates must visit the official CUET website that is: @cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
- After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
- After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
